I attended the Monday acting class at mindful acting last week. I was extremely impressed by the whole class, from the teacher to the friendly, welcoming and supportive vibe. Unfortunately as I don't live in Manchester I can't attend every week, but I will definitely be back again and would recommend to all actors and aspiring actors. Thanks, Christopher Heyworth-Hill

I have really enjoyed my time learning at Mindful acting. Dan has created a great environment to grow as a person and to become really good actors. It has been inspiring to see the improvement in others which is down to Dan's unique mix of Mindfulness and acting techniques. The hard work he puts in to tailor everybody's experiences is also very impressive, there is no "one size fits all" and he takes the time to understand you and what you need to get the best out of you

I have been going to Dan’s classes for a year now and wish I had started earlier. I had zero experience when I first started, and it has been the most wonderful experience discovering the art of acting. I got to learn things about my self, express fully and have fun in a safe space, while seeing my (and my fellow students’) acting skill develop over time. Whether you’re an aspiring actor or just want to try it out, I highly recommend it

Dan is an incredible coach and all round person with thoughtful and constructive notes who significantly elevates everyone’s performances in class. I’ve attended Monday, Wednesday and Scene Study (Thursday) classes and every session I’m learning and evolving. Very thankful for the great coaching and I highly recommend Mindful Acting.

I've been working with Dan on camera scene study and also his regular group sessions this year. All I can say is believe all the hype and the consistent top reviews on Google. Yes it's from his students like me but it's thoroughly deserved. Dan is a highly intelligent, experienced, friendly, charismatic, approachable teacher. I've picked up a number of great tips from him about acting directly and also had very interesting philosophical discussions which indirectly affect acting. I'll definitely be back for more sessions. Dan, thank you very much!

I would recommend Dan to anyone as he is a good listener. He managed to get to the root of the problem and explained things really well. I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. He taught me meditation and recommended 2 books. His session was pleasant, productive and good value for money.

Having not participated in many acting classes, I was quite apprehensive when I signed up for the Film Scene Study course. However, it turned out to be one of the most fun, challenging, and rewarding experiences I have ever done. Dan created a professional and compassionate space for learning and pushed me to go beyond what I thought I was capable of (all in patient, caring way). I think he is an immensely talented teacher. His method and way of working is inspiring and I couldn't recommend him or his courses enough. Thank you so much Dan!

I attended the month long 'On Screen Scene Study' and had an amazing experience. I was looking for an opportunity to become more relaxed on screen and delve deeper in to my understanding of character. Daniel was fantastic at helping with this. We each had at least an hour up in the space each week which allowed us to truly discover something new every time. I will definitely be back and couldn't recommend it enough to any other actor looking to further hone their craft.

The best acting class around - Dan is a brilliant teacher who gives every student a huge amount of time and attention. He creates a space where it's possible to be vulnerable and encourages the best out of people with a great balance of passion for acting and compassion for each individual student.

Dan’s classes are professional yet unpretentious. In each session I felt challenged and confident that the environment was a safe and supportive place. Scene study was a great opportunity to collaborate with a scene partner. I also valued the practise of receiving direction and applying it to my work effectively with Dan’s clear and encouraging guidance. I would recommend Mindful Acting to any newcomer or performer looking to refine their skills and I look forward to attending again myself in the future.
