I'm only 3 weeks in this college.. year 12.. I'm already enjoying my time in Cheadle College!!!!!! I like the way you have to scan something to get in and out the college as a staff or a student.. Because then no outsiders can access the college which I think is really good Staff are great.. If you need any help they will be there In Canteen, there's a hot drink machine and the hot chocolates are nice .. you can even get just hot water from there.. View out of some classroom windows are nice A little nursery bit upstairs to pretend you're in a nursery and see what it is like to be in a nursery Health and Social care there is a nice clinic for them to see what it is like I a clinic Student services are very helpful if you need any help.. Lift for health condition people A choices corridor for autistic and learning difficulties courses with their own garden The college green space outside is nice The library is nice and quiet.. Librarians very nice people.. Vibe is very nice Classes and courses seem very good.. I'm realkt enjoying it here already!!! I'd definitely recommend!!!

Pros: * Fantastic Faculty: The teachers are incredibly patient, supportive, and dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. * Top-notch Library: The library is a real gem, offering a wealth of resources and a great atmosphere for studying. Cons: * Campus Needs TLC: The campus facilities could use some serious renovations. * Dining Disappointment: The cafeteria food unfortunately falls short, lacking both taste and value. * Restroom Woes: The state of the restrooms definitely leaves room for improvement.

In terms of education, it's great (I do A-level maths, physics and business) the teachers are very patient and kind and they do their best to help you achieve your goals. Library's great. But the campus is in ruins, the cafeteria food is disgusting and overpriced, the toilet are always in a horrible state.

If you’re thinking about going to this college, don’t. This college is just an absolute disgrace to society. The teachers here are absolutley disgusting and appalling in terms of their teaching, and the lack of care for students is beyond disbelief. Very un-organised, teachers are never present, and quality of teaching is diabolical. Never send your kids here ever because it is the most disgraceful place to ever call an education.

The teachers don’t treat students equally at this college especially in the law department. If you are of colour avoid this place at all cost. Terriable college and staff

I have mild learning difficulties and went to the Cheadle Campus about 9 10 years ago I did a cooKerry course on a Thursday and on A Friday I did arts and crafts. They don't seem to cater for people with learning difficulties any more. SHAME on them

Cheadle was a great college, the campus is compact but open. The teaching is superb(staff were helpful and friendly) and the college offers lots of support for students. My time there was well spent as I am now going to uni which I feel was due a lot by the fantastic standards this college holds.

Cheadle&Marple Sixth Form college is an excellent college it is deffinately worth coming here, you will get the best of what you need over the two years you are here. I have been here a year now and I am going on to start my second year, I have completed all my first year work to the highest standard and I am very pleased with the progress of which I have made. I am the student union President and we have done many things this year which the students have asked for so really no one can complain about the college and any one who does may have their own personal reasons. The teachers put everything they have prepared aside to help you if and when you need it and the college has excellent resources, the community is friendly and the people around you are wonderful. Everyone here at the college is friendly and they all get along so we can guarantee you that no one would ever have any problems or reasons to feel upset or pushed aside. If you want to go to an enjoyable college where everything is done to a high standard and to where both you and the teachers are happy with your progress then this is the place to come!

I've studied here for 2 years and I regret doing so. The food prices are constantly changing; one day an apple may be 30p the next 85p and there isn't much choice; in terms of for vegetarians or those who don't enjoy spicy foods. The staff in the department I have been studying in didn't offer much help when it was asked for - they seemed convinced that they had already offered it so it wasn't really needed. Some frequently misplaced work and claimed they hadn't received it. One member had no respect for the students personal space and frequently upset members of the class. When issues were raised with the head of department, no action appeared to have taken place. Some members of staff were off ill for a while which can't be helped, but the students either weren't informed and were left waiting around with no work to do for a good few hours of the day or when cover staff were in, there wasn't work left and if there was, it was taught incorrectly - when the member of staff came back it was needed to be all taught again. HOWEVER there were individual members of staff in the department that constantly gave their all to the class. No matter how negative my opinion may seem, I can't fault this one person, I believe it was their support that has resulted in me leaving college successfully. Mostly, the results and quality of your learning depends on the moods of the staff per day. If you can cope with working well independently and varied levels of support, then this may be the college for you. Like I said previously, it depends on the staff you get... if that one member of staff gave who gave it all to the class had been the only one to teach my course, I'd have reviewed CAMSFC higher and moreover had a pleasant time there.
