   It's an absolutely super setup here. Opens at 10 am. On entry, you are given a little clipboard and paper. You then go around the hall in a clockwise direction, looking at the various stalls. When you want to purchase an item, you hand over your little clipboard and paper, and the stall owners write down the bill for the item. At the end of your little tour around all the lovely stalls, you go to the till, and your bill is totted up. You can then pay the balance by card or cash...brilliant!! As I understand it (it was my first visit), the stalls can vary week by week. There were homemade goods, greeting cards, hats, jewellery, plants, flower decorations, baked goods, etc. all homemade by the women of the WI to raise money for charity This week, it was for the air ambulance. Well worth a visit, I highly recommend this market.

   We are a group of friends who hire this place once a month for family gettogether. We always book the 5 PM slot and we get 4 hours of hall and all amenities. Have been booking hall over two years and experience has been fantastic. Their prices are very competitive and probably one of the lowest in the area. Highly recommend for group of up to 100 people. Amenities and facilities: 1. Kitchen was refurbished 2 years back and it looks modern and has all the cutlery and appliances (hob, grill, microwave, refrigerator and hot water dispenser for Tea and Coffee. 2. Clean and new toilets 3. Central heating. We had issues with heating system earlier but now a new heating system has been installed 4. A brand new flooring 5. Nice little stage with two stage curtains 6. Projector screen. Wish this was put towards one side of the stage as it blocks the whole stage when in use 7. Good enough number of chairs and tables 8. Good lighting in the hall including the stage lighting 9. Cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaner and mopping accessories 10. Ample parking Like many other halls, it will be as good as how the previous group has left the hall. Only in one instance we arrived and the previous group hasn’t left the building and they rushed cleaning up. The rush was clearly seen in the way they have left behind some mess. However, we took pictures and sent to the person in charge, he was kind to come by quickly and take a note of them. We weren’t fussed about getting that sorted immediately. There is a big park and play area adjacent to the hall which is an added advantage. Just need to be mindful not to disturb the residents around the hall while in the parking lot.
