   This is one of the best colleges in and around Greater Manchester. The staff are very attentive, caring and helpful. They nurture and develop skills necessary for uni life and study. The enrichment programme provides excellent extra curricular activities, which broaden the students understanding. Preparing them for further study or employment.

   This college is very good for education but seriously bad for your child’s mental health. The teachers will shout and humiliate your young adult like they are a children. They will do this in public spaces and bring in other teachers for back up. My niece is a very bright student and has no support from teachers.

   I went here today for a pre options event. I am in year 9, I wasn’t greeted nicely by staff. As soon as I came in I was shouted at for no apparent reason. The student who took me around called Amen was quite rude. The staff were not really friendly. Only one woman named Paula was nice and the offered were really disrespectful and students were getting shouted at for no reason.

   The college in terms of the education is very good. However, this college tolerates staff behaviour that can be very damaging to students mental health, and ignores issues raised by a student unless there is parental intervention. Teachers telling students they are going to fail in life, constantly belittling them etc. When issues were raised, the college put about a 1% effort in to resolve them. As a result, my personal mental health has deteriorated detrimentally

   I called in to make an enquiry for my son as he has a passion to study English Alevels . I wanted to discuss the options he had..The lady on the phone felt like she didn't want to be there as she just keep interrupting me rudely she gave no options and said " oh sorry we are full" she didn't at all make me feel welcome or comfortable. My son actually went to the enrollment and they rudely dismissed him..its so heartbreaking to see him this way. When he told me what had happened I was really sad for him. So isaid I'd call on his behalf but that call made me feel un welcome and put me off.

   I went to study A-Levels here for 2 years. All the staff I had were friendly and were very knowledgeable. All members of staff are willing to help you on your course if you encounter any difficulty, and there is a pleasant atmosphere in the college. There is a canteen downstairs near the entrance, Starbucks up on the top floor, as well as ASDA basically being next door and the town centre being around a 5 minute walk away. Would highly recommend students finishing secondary school in to consider this sixth form college.
