   What a Diamond John is. Dropped off my van in the afternoon for an urgent repair, faulty brakes. phoned following morning to say it was ready. Reasonable charges too. Far better service than at a Main Stealer. Been using Prescot Car Centre for years now, always reasonably priced, will only carry out work that needs doing and doesn't overcharge. Support your local businesses as they will offer better customer service and price. Genuine business, Recommended.    I don't usually leave reviews but felt it absolutely necessary to do so! John at Prescot Car Centre is absolutely brilliant. Took my old and beloved car to him for an MOT and had a great experience. It was the first time away from the usual garage that I've been going to, so was slightly anxious but those nerves quickly settled - I just wish I'd come to John years ago! One of the most honest and understanding mechanics I have had the pleasure of meeting. The car needed a few bits doing to get it through the MOT and John gave me sincere advice about how best to move forward. Time was against us but even though he was busy, managed to squeeze it in to fit the parts and for a re-test, to save me the cost of another MOT outside of the 10 working day re-test window. I'm so glad I've found this garage on my doorstep and I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Don't hesitate to take your car here!

   I never knew a honest and good auto Engineer was beside my house all these while and I have been going to Bolton from Prescot to fix my car, wasting money and my petrol. Ever since he started fixing my cars, there is this inner joy and peace i always have. I over paid him last time he changed all my brake Disks, callipers and pads, I couldn’t believe he waited until when he saw me and he returned back £40 to me as my excess payment. I was shocked to see a honest man like him. Am not going to any garage except his own. I wish I can give him 10 stars

   I’ve been coming to this garage now for a good few years, I would never go anywhere else. John is a honest genuine guy and always goes that extra mile. Today I took my car in as I couldn’t get the bonnet open and I needed to put wiper fluid in, John got this open, filled it up for me and checked my oil and water. He is a great guy and great mechanic. Thank you John!

   I've been using John as my mechanic for years. In an industry where there are so many dodgy and unscrupulous mechanics John is like a knight in shining armour. He is not only the best mechanic I've used but he is honest and transparent in his work. He never overcharges. He might not be the cheapest mechanic but I would rather pay him and have a top quality job done than go to a cheaper mechanic and get a substandard job done. An excellent, honest, and professional mechanic. Would highly recommend.
