This inviting establishment offers an incredible value at just £6 per visit, enabling you to take home approximately £22 worth of groceries. You can select from three premium red card items, such as Weetabix cereal or Fray Bentos pies, along with seven affordable blue items. The range includes essential pantry items as well as frozen and refrigerated products like milk and butter. Moreover, they provide complimentary items like bread, fruits, and vegetables. It’s a nurturing space for those seeking food assistance, with staff always available for a friendly chat and support. What I find most rewarding about this initiative is that by contributing £6 each week, I feel like I’m playing a part in the community rather than simply receiving aid.

Much needed hub for the community with foodbank, baby bank, coffee and drop in centre. Has upper floor uniform area which we now visited. Provides area for chat and assistance mostly staffed by volunteers. Please support with long-life foods and cash donations.

Small pleasant friendly coffee shop run by volunteers from local church. Very good very reasonably priced coffee and tea. Always someone to talk to. No religion pushed at you. Houses the local foodbank on Friday mornings which is why I was there as a foodbank volunteer.
