I have been for pasta Friday! The best pasta I've ever had. Would definitely recommend the pea and pancetta pasta! Staff were lovely, very friendly and the atmosphere was amazing!
I recently visited Maison Du Soleil and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. Overall, I would highly recommend Maison Du Soleil for anyone looking for a great dining experience in the area. I will definitely be returning soon!
Unhelpful and unprofessional staff, processed and poor quality food and well overpriced. Staff need some training on how to talk to customers. Toilet was also in need of a good clean with dirty door and skirtings. Massively overpriced too for the low quality food. Needless to say, won’t be returning.
Overpriced: Beware of ordering off an old menue with old prices and then to find your bill is more expensive. Would be happy to be refunded? Quality of Smoothie: The Green smoothie tasted like and resembled a supermarket brand smoothie mixed with some ice. Not at all am authentic smoothie. Go somewhere else- your money will be better spent.
I visit this lovely cafe once a year because it is just down the road from where I get my car serviced and mot’d. They open at 8.30 (ish) and let me sit in until my car is ready - which is very kind of them. They also serve a really nice breakfast baguette and keep the tea coming. They are very friendly and helpful.
Have been here for coffee many a times and tried their delicious apple crumble cake. Today had a delicious vegetarian ciabatta (made vegan) with roasted peppers, aubergine, and sun-dried tomatoes with avocado instead of mozzarella. My partner has a breakfast croissant with eggs and bacon & a hot chocolate. Staff is nice and accomodating. Lots of doggies which they give a biscuit to every time. Really recommend! Update: keep coming back for coffee & apple crumble cake.
The coffee served here is by far the best in the area! The breakfast/brunch options are perfect, serving eggs, freshly bakes pastries, breads, cakes and much more! The staff are super friendly and we’re helpful with my every need. I will be going back tomorrow for more :)
So disappointed today. I've always enjoyed going to this cafe with my elderly Mum and Dad. But for some reason when I arrived at 3pm today (to have coffee and cake whilst having my car MOT'd) it was closed..why close so early when there's still so much custom? Ended up going to Costa instead...would far rather support independent cafes, but that's a challenge when it's closed!
Lovely independent cafe with made to order food - my favourites are the florentine and breakfast croissants. Delicious and good portions! I’ve ordered takeaway before and the quality/presentation doesn’t change. You can seat yourself for table service and the atmosphere allows you to stay a while or be in and out quickly - whichever you prefer.
Good food let down by appalling service, waited an over an hour for three simple dishes. People who arrived after served first. Waitress didn't even seem to want to even offer menus from the very start. Back to pre COVID attitude and service, don't bother unless you've got a couple of hours to spare!
