Just ordered a few drinks here and one of the staff was wiping her nose on her hand and sleeve and then puts lids on said drinks that my server made putting her fingers on mouth holes almost looked on purpose and to top it off the milk was slightly off , worst Costa I've been in.
Normally is nice place to go. But AVOID at school home time. Kids running about, behind the counter, in Staff Only places, parents thinking its funny, staff not doing anything about it, absolute bedlam. Would like to see parents reaction if one of their kids had an accident or caused someone else to.
Located right on Shepperton high street and about a 3 minute walk from the train station the cafe has all the amenities and standards you expect from a Costa. Firstly, I would like to mention the fact that as of April 2023, there is wifi, which is desperately needed as Shepperton has notoriously bad signal. Also the seats right at the back have a couple of plug sockets. So if you need to charge devices, it is possible but if it is busy you may be out of luck. There is also one single use toilet at the back that is accessible for people with disabilities. As far as cafe toilets go I found this to be pretty clean. The cafes furnished quite nicely, in line with other Costa’s, but could use a little refresh. It is nonetheless a comfy place to relax and grab a coffee for an hour or so. The staff were lovely and friendly and seemed to have a friendly rapport with many local customers, who clearly come in regularly. This was nice to see as you don’t often see this in big chains, but the quietness of Shepperton makes this possible. The food and drink were exactly what you expect of Costa, my Cappuccino was made quickly and tasted great. The Cinnamon Bun and Bakewell Tart are favourites of mine and didn’t disappoint. All in all I would definitely come back again if I found myself in the area and had a bit of time to kill. Food and beverage were of the standard you expect, all the facilities you could need, comfy atmosphere and friendly staff… not much more you could want really…
Shepperton Rude staff, took ages to serve when only a few people in there and two people behind the till. Left without a drink ridiculous
Smaller costa are but still always clean with polite staff. There are limited tables to seat more than 2 people though which is a shame as we are a family of 8 so makes it difficult to ever find space but they are limited on space in the cafe so it's not their fault.
Lovely little Costa in Shepperton High Street. Always clean and the staff are lovely. Normal Costa drinks and food on offer here. The shop is a bit narrow so there aren't many tables for groups apart from two 4 seater at the back, the rest are generally 2 seater due to the lack of space but still a nice place to drop in for a quick, quiet coffee.
Good selection of items and hot drinks. Probably the best hot chocolate out of all the chains IMO. Usually quick service with a smile and tables and floor are usually very clean
On Sunday I came in for my morning coffee and got great service from three young girls. My coffee was top notch! Keep up the amazing work.
