I recently purchased a 2017 L405 4.4L RR, and asked JDA to give it an inspection before I committed to keeping it. Within a few hours he'd checked the car over and confirmed it's in great condition. He gave me some advice about common issues and preventative maintenance and servicing, and then refused to charge me for looking over the car. I'd highly rate JDA, and will be taking my new old RR there going forward.

Outstanding Service from JD Automotive! I desperately needed my brake pads replaced and had visited several garages, but no one was available to help. John saw I was in need and kindly told me to come to his garage, JD Automotive. He replaced the pads in no time at all and was genuinely happy to help. I stopped by JD Auto on my way down to London because a sensor was causing ABS warning lights on my dashboard. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, quickly identifying the faulty sensor and explaining how it triggered the issues. Highly recommend this garage to Land Rover owners.

Went to see John today as my land rover had a urgent fault.. phoned up at last minute and he said bring your evoque in straight away. The level of service we received from this company is outstanding. Both Dave and John provide a 5 star service. They are simply brilliant and go out of there way to get your land rover back on the road. Cannot praise them enough. They provide a quick efficient service at a great price.. Absolute nightmare. Was only interested in telling me how bad land rovers are (heard him saying the same to every other customer that came in). Went out of his way to find faults to prove his point and then had absolutely no interest in fixing any of them. Has made me dread driving my car. When I finally got him to agree to do some work it took him over 2 weeks to bother making an appointment (which was a further 2 weeks down the line). Bizarre that he's happy to spend 20 minutes telling you stories of doom about your vehicle, but cant be bothered spending 5 minutes to book you in. I really wanted this garage to be the reliable and interested garage they appeared to be during my first contact with them... but sadly not.

Avoid complete time wasters. Had car booked in for cambelt replacements. Two hours after I had dropped my car off, got a call to say cant do it because the tool they needed to do the work had been broken. Told they would let me know when replacement tool had arrived. I rang 10 days after & was told the new tool had still not arrived but was promised they would contact me to rearrange work. After another 2 weeks no call I rang back & the car was booked in again. Then get a call the day before the job to say they had a family emergency & would contact me to rearrange. 3 weeks still waiting. This has been going on since April, if they don't want the work, just say so!
