This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!
Great place great for coffee and cake love it I send my wife to hospital so i can Just come hear long my she be sick and I can come to friends cafe for Cakes and coffee love it
A very cute café (not in terms of appearance but the idea). It's run by super friendly staff- they have always had a smile on their faces every time I have visited. The prices are great too! A regular mocha only costs £1.60!! If you ever visit Ealing Hospital, do pop into this café; it's located by the outpatients department.
Had a cheese and ham toastie and was burnt. I didn't want to complain as there were elderly ppl serving. Cashier (amazing lady) noticed me and went out of her way to make me another. Now that's amazing customer service for you. I missed my blood test but it was worth it! Give her a medal! Happy Customer ❤
