   Dont usually leave bad reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences ive had in a cafe. Ordered 2 breakfasts. Only 1 other person in there when we arrived. Waiting for an hour and nothing came. Asked and they said "two minutes" and just carried on bring other people's food out who had arrived 40 minutes after us. Ended up asking again 20 minutes later and had the same reaction. Eventually asked for our money back after 2 hours. They were not even making our food when we asked for the refund. What an absolute waste of time

   I went in there before work. The server was very upset. No smiling. No greetings. When I said “good morning”, no replies. What type of customer service is that! I asked for a croissant and it took them 5 mins just to grab it from the counter next to the till!!!! What type of customer service is that!!!!

   Super-cosy café next to the train station. The 2 lovely ladies behind the till are doing a great job! And the prices… for the same double espresso I’ll have to pay close to £5 in Clapham Common when here it’s £2.75. They’ve got a lovely tiny terrace with 6 easy-moving tables! I think I have to move in this area…

   Ordered poached eggs on toast and a strawberry and banana smoothie. Firstly the server was distracted and didn’t greet very well. When the eggs on toast came, the poached eggs were done very well, but they just sat uninspired on a bed of rocket salad leaves and some toasted seeded bread (equally uninspired); there was no flavour, no seasoning or dressing of any sort, just tasted bland. I had to ask for salt and pepper and even that didn’t help. The smoothie was served in a plastic cup (I was dining in so really no need for the plastic), and just tasted sweet. Not sure about the quality of the coffee too when I saw someone else’s coffee.

   This place is next to Kew Bridge train station. A lot of the footfall is from people about to get on a train and grabbing a coffee/bite to eat. Therefore they often don't have long to hang around and wait to be served/coffee made. I put up with their slow service a few times because the coffee is generally decent and the food is good quality (which is why it's 2 stars, not 1). But I was standing by the till today, train coming in 5 minutes, 3 staff members in the kitchen area doing non-essential food prep and NONE of them came up to take my order. After about 100 seconds of be staring in disbelief, one of them bothered to acknowledge me and said they would be over in a few seconds (which would have been more like another minute), to which the train was coming in 3 minutes and they hadn't even taken my order, let alone made my coffee, so I just left. The level of customer service is appalling. Given the location and type of customers that come in, you would think they understand the need to be quick (I can live without the smile and friendly service). Edit 07/02/2023- I came in here one more time from desperation of needing a coffee. My train was coming in 8 minutes so I thought there should be enough time to get a coffee and get onto the platform. Just two people in front of me in the queue, so you'd think 5 mins and you should be out. 10, yes TEN minutes later, I got my coffee and MISSED my train. Absolutely Never again. Avoid this place of you're coming for a coffee and getting the train

   Nice place to express lunch/brunch. Beautiful venue, very well presented. Very friendly and helpful staff, fast service. I found the chicken club bread a bit soggy but I'm giving it 5 stars as the place in general was above my expectations.

   Good location by the tube station in Kew Bridge. Eggs Royale is good portion. The falafel wrap needs to be served with some salad or crisps but I guess it’s not not for the price.

   Great for express lunch. Love the decor too. I particularly like their jacket potatoes served with salad. The avocado baps are nice too. Sometimes they might get in a pickle and delay orders but generally OK. The reason I gave only 3 stars is because the coffee is horrible! A cafe (especially in Kew) is expected to serve better coffee, even if its not artisan. The coffee quality is worse than Nero and Costa and that's bad enough. Maybe they need to change their roast or machine or both.
