   I reached out to Stagecoach Sutton Coldfield as my daughter was due to attend her very first lesson in September. It states that parents must remain outside during classes, which I completely understand, as it’s in place for the safety of students and teachers. Because of that, I sent a polite email asking if I could come in beforehand to briefly see the environment and meet the teacher. Purely for my own peace of mind as a parent leaving my child somewhere new. The principal called me in response. She introduced herself and immediately began the conversation by saying, “I was going to send an email, but I didn’t want to sound harsh,” which already made me feel uneasy as if my simple request had been misinterpreted. Throughout the call, her tone came across as cold and dismissive, which was very off-putting for a first interaction. When I gently raised the issue of how the conversation was making me feel, she suggested that if I felt that way, I might want to reconsider sending my daughter to Stagecoach. That response made it very clear to me that this was not the right environment for us. Although she did suggest a possible solution, the tone and attitude throughout the call left me with no confidence in leaving my daughter there. First impressions matter, and as a parent, I was simply looking for a welcoming and supportive approach. Unfortunately, this experience gave the opposite impression.

   The place is very dodgy. Please Avoid! The place is very hard to find because it is hiding behind a small shop's car park. They don't open today but they don't call you to let you know. They said they sent an email last minute today but who checks their email when they are driving to send their children here!? I'll never come back again.

   Such a shame we had the most terrible experience as I think my little one would have loved it. The environment is not safe for children. They are secretive and want parents to leave the place ASAP. The manager is rude and patronising, old school in her treatment to the children. They have no patience to ease the children on their first day and, unfortunately, it didn't feel like the loving,caring hands you would like to see your kids in. My friends had their trial yesterday and had a similar experience. None of us will be returning. However, the manager couldn't care less. Oh well...it's business I guess.

   Incredibly poor experience and a potentially damaging place to send any child if you are wanting to build on their confidence and get them involved with the arts. Ran by a woman with shocking insensitivity towards a child’s feelings and no encouragement at all to help any parent either. I certainly wouldn’t spend my hard earned money on this place.
