Found this independent coffee place. Their coffee was delicious. They also sell coffee beans and grounded coffee. Staffs were very friendly and service was efficient.

I had such a lovely experience at this cafe. The barista welcomed me so gently, which immediately made me feel comfortable. When I asked for a batch brew, she told me she had half a cup left and kindly offered it to me for free—a gesture that truly made my day and made me feel very welcome. I also tried the lemon cake, which was delicious, and the seating area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing. I’ll definitely be keeping this café on my list and coming back again!

Really sneaky ‘say thanks leave a tip’ machine placed on front counter. It’s white and far more noticeable than the actual small black contactless card reader. (see pic). Probably obvious to most people but when you’re in a rush, it’s first thing in the morning and all you want to do is grab a coffee and go, I think a lot of people would mistake it as I did for coffee payment. This is NOT a payment machine - be careful! I tapped and assumed it would then ask me if I wanted to leave a tip as most do. Instead this just takes £1 and doesn’t refund. I therefore ended up paying over £5 for a coffee. Really didn’t appreciate the shop assistant rolling her eyes and saying ‘sorry about that but thanks for the tip’! Another assistant handed me a free coffee card ( nice damage control - thank you). However, I do think it’s underhand and people should be made aware of it. I won’t be coming here again. Good to support independent businesses but they need to be called out for unnecessary stuff like this. Get rid of it and go back to a glass jar - sure people don’t carry as much cash as they used to but it’s far more honest. At the very least pop a sign up that says THIS IS NOT FOR PAYMENT! Thank you for the reply. Sad you feel that way. To put it into context - every one of us works hard, it’s tough for us all and £1 adds up. Having x2 payment machines on the counter is unusual and confusing - that was my point. Please don’t try and justify why a customer should overpay! I hope you can see where the customer is coming from too. The free coffee card has been given away to someone else.

Really nice atmosphere, good music and definitely recommend trying their baked goods (Banana + pecan loaf!!) Their Cranberry + walnut slice is really good as well! Coffee is really good here and they have multiple milk alternatives

I go to the Stamford Brook Artisan a lot, and was still blown away by the quality of service and coffee at this branch. The space is huge and comfortable, and the coffee is delicious. The staff are lovely and knowledgeable about their goods.

This is a cute little cafe in Ealing. It’s cosy, staff are friendly and nice and much better than other main high street cafe brands that are nearby. There is a lot of space inside and nice outdoors seating when the weather is nice. The coffee and pastries are excellent!

Used to love this place and love the cakes but when I ordered recently, the guy barely washed his hands (ran them under the tap for maybe 2 seconds maximum), after cleaning things on the floor. Then used said barely washed hand to touch the part of the coffee machine that goes into the milk jug. I didn’t even know what to say. I just took the drunk and chucked it in the bin after I left.

Here is very nice and laptop friendly. Their coffee and especially loafs are very delicious. however the music is very loud and in a nightclub mood, it could be very nice if it was a little quieter and peaceful

Coffee is good quality but this is the third time we come and although we pay for a "stay in" cappuccino we are given take away cups. I honestly come for the experience of having a coffee in the shop and I do pay for it.. The barista explained they run up of take in cups again. I think you should either buy more cups or wash the cups on time.
