    Had some work done recently and I checked the part number against the price for the part on the invoice that they fitted for me (they charged £156) and was shocked to see the retail price, not trade price was at its lowest £40 and highest £82 so even with the garage adding a usual 20% mark up this still should be under £100. I've just been and checking the service they did on my wife's car a few months ago and can see the price they charged us for the brake discs was above the highest price on eurocarparts allowing the typical garage 20% markup. So if they quote you for a job I'd suggest asking them whats the part number they are fitting and having a look online to see how much markup they are adding on. Well I'd actually recommend going elsewhere.

    Just had work completed on my Audi TT after several garages in Wigan (very reputable garages) told me different faults which would have cost me thousands if I had listened to them.
