   I’m extremely disappointed with my friend’s experience at Cowley MOT. The car they purchased developed serious safety issues very soon after buying it. They returned the vehicle and were told it would be repaired, but the garage kept it for weeks with repeated promises that the work was being done. When the car was finally returned, it still appeared to have major problems and became unsafe to drive, leading to a very frightening situation for the family inside. Throughout the process, communication was unreliable and the garage did not seem to take the safety concerns seriously. In the end, my friend felt they had no choice but to sell the car back to the garage for less than they had originally paid, and they were not offered a proper refund despite the ongoing issues. Based on this experience, I do not feel confident in the reliability or professionalism of this business, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious and consider alternative places when purchasing a vehicle.

   I really don’t understand why you’re making me chase you for my own money. You’ve had the car for weeks now and still haven’t refunded me. You don’t even bother to communicate properly. This isn’t how a decent person or business behaves. You sold me a car with a fake MOT and now you’re avoiding responsibility. I’m giving you one last chance to sort this before I take it further. I hope there is no other people to be Victim of David Cowley

   I am a new driver with a 3-year-old daughter. My partner and I bought a Honda Jazz 2005 from this garage. I wasn’t expecting a perfect car, just one that runs safely on the road as I build my confidence driving. After only 6 days, the engine light came on. My partner uses the car to drop off our daughter at school and to support me while I gain more confidence on the road. While driving, the exhaust fell off! The MOT was supposedly done just a few days before we collected the car, but how could it have passed if the car was already juttering, with the exhaust falling off and the wheel stud spinning? This car is not fit for purpose and has caused me a lot of stress as a new driver and a mum who just needs a safe, reliable car. I want a full refund and I am asking the garage to please answer the phone.

   ⚠️ Be very careful with this garage. They made false promises and gave me a car with a dodgy MOT. After the car broke down, they promised a refund if I returned it — but never did. They blocked my number and stopped communicating. Very unprofessional and stressful experience. Avoid this place! AVOID THIS GARAGE FOR any COST!!! How come this car we brought less than a month passed on MOT and it put my daughter life in Danger!!! no he is not picking up the phone !!!!!

   Incredible garage! So friendly and helpful, Dave has helped me with 3 of my cars all within the space of a week, travelling up to Preston to help retrieve a car and then fixing it up, selling my old car and fixing that and then also sorting another car we own, throughout the whole process nothing was to much and Dave went above and beyond to help us in a really tough time, we are extremely grateful and couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you Dave and the team!

   Another fine job done by Cowley MOT...initially went in for a service but I highlighted fluid in the drivers footwell, quickly identified the issue, contacted me, gave me a very competitive price and I left the job in their safe hands. Kept me up to date with progress, showed me the old part and pictures of the work being done. Thank you once again for a great customer experience. As always, I will always trust my car with Cowley MOT.
