   I had been a few months ago and had wellness bowl with salmon. It was really delicious. However, upon my visit today, I ordered the same thing and as soon as the plate was put down in front of me, I could feel this really fishy smell coming from the salmon. I tried a little slither and it did not taste good at all. It took me a while to get the waitresses attention. When she came over, I explained to her that the salmon was really fishy and asked to exchange it for the bavette steak. My friend also ordered the bavette steak salad bowl. When it arrived, the Asian crunchy slaw was completely dry (just grated cabbage with no seasoning to it at all). The sweet potato was the only part of the salad that was okay. The bavette steak was incredibly chewy and hard to eat. The quinoa salad base tasted like nothing. I had to add so much salt to even try to make it edible. It was honestly a shame since I had been before and loved it. We had the plates barely touched in front of us for over half an hour. No one came to check on us. The manager even walked past us carrying a box and saw our plates were untouched in front of us and didn’t say anything or check on us. I was waiting to see how long it would take them to come check on us, But the waitress and the manager just kept chatting at the counter and didn’t even look towards our table for ages. When I finally managed to get the waitresses attention again, I explained to her that the salad bowl was truly not good and that we were really disappointed and I politely requested that it was taken off the bill as we barely touched it. We went to the till to pay for our coffees and the manager just stood there, didn’t say a word to us. Didn’t apologise for our bad experience. The waitress did say sorry about that, but it’s not her fault. It is the manager that should’ve addressed the situation. Really bad customer service and truly disappointing!!

   Love dropping into Alma for the odd full English breakfast to refuel! Good quality ingredients. Love the sausages! The breakfast is £12.75 which is a great deal - enough to share with another person really! Staff are always very sweet. Today I was served by lovely Kay. Only one star off for atmosphere as I don’t like that there’s always loud music, I prefer a more peaceful atmosphere haha.

   We absolutely love Alma Wellness Cafe! The food is delicious, the ambiance is cozy, and the staff are always so friendly. Honestly, it’s one of the best spots in London for both coffee and food. We also love that they support a small, mum-owned - educational jigsaw puzzle business - it’s such a wonderful contribution to the community.

   Our first time visit, and it was a great experience. Simply cannot fault it. The food (pictured) in particular was 10/10. We were pleasantly surprised by the value of this too, with other local cafes charging about £4 more for a subpar meal. Service at the table (thank you Kay!), pleasant background music, nice staff. We also had a cappuccino and a beetroot latte. Both were delicious.

   I had such a lovely experience at Alma – Barnes today! The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. But what really made the visit special was the wonderful service. A big thank you to Kay, who was so friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcome. She went above and beyond, and it truly made my visit memorable. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

   LOVE THIS PLACE…absolutely delicious and amazing coffee! I love Matcha but I found both the matcha and the red velvet overly floral almost like they’d added rose essence to it - still tasty, just not your standard tasting matcha!

   My friend and I cycled along the river to get here one day. It might have been because of the cycling, but this was one of the nicest brunches we've had! The selection was so temping, but we were both super happy with our choices. Our drinks were also delicious (and beautifully presented). We also picked up some baked goods to eat on the way back. If it was closer, I'd be here all the time! Definitely worth coming to.

   I love sampling Carrot cakes. This place had one of the best (definitely top 5). Had the fresh juice too (Marrakesh something... Very refreshing). Coffee was good. Recommended. Will visit again.

   The best Brunch in Barnes! Stopped in for a coffee today and had a lovely breakfast as well. The shop itself is gorgeous, and the staff was extremely helpful. They recommended this Chorizo Hash breakfast, and it was lovely. With a scenic window view and welcoming atmosphere, there's nothing more you could want from a morning coffee spot.
