Good old fashioned garage who fixed the faulty handbrake on my Fiat 500 where 2 other local garages failed (Huyton lane garage and Tyre Outlet) and others couldn't even be bothered to look at my car. Good job at a fair price,- that's how to build repeat custom

I had my car towed by AA to Mike at L&M Autos due to a broken water pump. Mike was very accomodating and understanding over my situation and got the car back on the road for me very quickly. Price was very cheap and level of service untouchable. I would highly recommend using this garage should you have any car issues and I can assure you, your car is in good hands. I’m hugely grateful to Mike and appreciate how helpful he has been.
Brilliant mechanic. Gave him my 20yo golf for MOT repairs. Did it in 48hrs. Took the car to Kwikfit for a re MOT and the inspector complement Micks work. Will go back to him again. Highly recommended BIG 5 STARS.
Was given Mike's name by a friend. He helped me sort my Citroen c4 picasso out.. felt had been misled by other garages but Mike was honest upfront and didn't push for a decision to go ahead with any work. No messing about phoned when he said he would likewise with the work and part costs... and..He's the 1st guy in a garage with a smile on his face.. and excellent customer service also spotted the garage and his office are clean and organised. Wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone.
I was in a broken down car in St Helens the car was drove to this garage with the assistance of the RAC. Without any notice Mike accepted the car ordered the parts and had the car back the next day. Mike and the team did the job that needed doing no over sales .car was giving back in the same condition that it was handed over in. The price was discussed and agreed on Mike kept me updated I removed one star as it was a little bit more expensive that I would have been charged in my normal garage but on the other hand they accepted my car with no notice and did the job straight away you get what you pay for big thank you for the team

The place I usually take my motor to couldn't fit me in (offered to loan me specialist tools to do myself - alternator pulley failing - but I didn't fancy it) so I hunted out another place. Went to N & D in Prescot but they were too busy also and I was going away in my car towing a caravan. It needed sorting within a week and Neil at N & D told me to go and see L & M. Mike from L & M could see that I was in a spot and fitted me in at short notice. He quoted a good price to replace the pulley (saving the alternator). I also had my own oil and filter that i had planned to do myself however, I was running out of time having to have the pulley done so I thought I'd ask him to do that for me while he had the car and he did for a nominal price, which I thought was brilliant. He even chucked the air filter on that I'd left on the back seat without me asking or adding to the charge. All in all, Mike seems like a really genuine and trustworthy bloke and I'll definitely use L & M again. Based on the excellent service I received, I'd recommend them to anyone.
Booked my car in on Monday to have a clutch and flywheel changed was told to bring it down today (Wednesday) so I did garage was full of cars even outside the owner asked how quick I wanted it back! After originally telling me he'd have it one day then I got there to be told a week because he took to much work on yet didn't think to tell me before I drove 5 miles with a knackered clutch and flywheel definitely won't be going back
