This is one of my favourite coffee places, so I’m sad to be leaving a less-than-positive review. I’ve marked it 5 stars, but I’m mainly writing this for awareness. I was working from the cafe today and ordered a hot oat milk latte in the morning, which was perfect. Later, around lunchtime, I ordered pancakes and a matcha latte (again with oat milk). When I received my matcha latte, I noticed floating milk bits and a large cluster of separated milk at the bottom of the cup. I understand that milk separation can sometimes happen and isn’t always within staff control. However, what was disappointing was how the staff responded. When I brought it to the attention of the first lady, she looked at me blankly without explanation or offering to replace the drink. The supervisor then came over, briefly looked at the drink, and quickly said it was just milk and might be separating because of the matcha powder, as if I had never had this drink before. I tried to explain, politely and hesitantly, that this clearly shouldn’t happen and that something was likely wrong with the milk. He continued to insist it was the matcha. I then asked for another drink (an iced oat milk latte) which he agreed to make but without apologising at all making me feel that it was my fault. Moments later, I received it, and it had the same issue. At that point, I didn’t even want to say anything, as I felt I was being a bother, and it seemed like the same milk had been reused without checking. When my pancakes arrived, I simply asked the waiter to take the drink away, which he did without asking why I didn’t want it. Later, I went to the front desk to get a soft drink and even found myself apologising for complaining, suggesting they discard the milk and use a fresh carton, but received no response. I also asked if the manager was around, but no one else was available. I really don’t like complaining, but with the number of coffee shops in London and the prices we pay for small drinks, I feel customer feedback should be heard. This experience was disappointing, especially as the staff have always been friendly in the past. Sincerely, A loyal customer

This happened a couple of months ago, but I feel bitter whenever I come across this cafe. I believe these people need new service. I was getting my coffee, and the barista's friend came into the store. They completely forgot about me. I understand being happy to see your friend, but my coffee was already done; all it needed was a lid. I got the lid after the friend got his coffee and left. I was late for my train, which made me late for work. I think this coffee shop is really nice, but they need better employees. I haven't been there since; I guess it really hit a nerve for me. The baristas were the small Spanish guy and the Japanese girl.

I absolutely loved my visit to The Living Room Club Cafe! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — perfect for relaxing with a coffee or catching up with friends. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. The food was delicious — everything tasted fresh and beautifully presented. I especially recommend their avocado toast and coffee, both were excellent.

Stumbled upon this cafe and was so pleasantly surprised to discover this cozy and comfy cafe. Cakes were pretty good and staff were friendly. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere where a lot of people were chatting or enjoying time with friends.

Quiet cozy cafe that offers a simple menu. Really friendly staff. Great refuge from the craziness of Camden! Great spot for a coffee but don’t expect too much from the food.

Nicely decorated space. I came here for a Portuguese language class as they hold a variety of workshops and events in the evenings. As I arrived after hours, I can’t comment on the coffee or food, but as far as being a venue for workshops, I really appreciated it. It’s definitely more suitable for smaller groups (there were about 10 of us I believe), but it was a decent space with a chill out vibe and nice decor. Hope to be back to try the coffee.

Good coffee, strong pasty selection, very friendly staff, spacious place with lots of tables to work at and sofas to chill. Wifi pretty good too! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they blast out the music making it less easy to work but this being said, if you're not working it does add to the vibe.

The best Tuna and Cheese Panini ever! I went to this place for a light bite and received an amazing culinary experience. The staff were most welcome too. The prices were a tad high but for the taste, it's well worth the money. I've returned twice since and always felt the same.

Stoped here before catching a train and bought the tastiest cinnamon roll I’ve ever tried possibly! The roll was very big, filled with cinnamon and made out of fresh and gooey dough with a soft centre. The staff were super friendly and the interior seemed cosy and welcoming, thus I will 10000% be back. Definitely the new favourite spot in the area
