   I was recommended this law firm to deal with my finances when going through a split with my ex wife. All very professional but in my opinion just interested in extracting money from you. My ex wanted me to give my share of a house or she threatened to go for my pension. I was advised over several months to keep fighting this having provided my pension figures to the lawyers at the very early stages.. ( A qualified lawyer never dealt with my case i always dealt with a staff member) So I took the advice and paid around 11k only to be told "You need to give your part of the house up" Obviously they had my financial information from the beginning? Nothing had changed in the information other than I was now 11 grand poorer!! I paid the money..gave my house away and kept my pension...but I could have done that anyway with quality, ethically driven advice. All quiet after paying or so I thought. I've now got a random amount owing invoice out of the blue for a few hundred quid which ive been told is still owed and when am I paying as they have been advised to forward this debt on to a collection agency otherwise. I know this is a business, but these guys are snake oil salesmen.. Think long and hard before you use these people. I wish I'd picked a company with a better moral compass than this lot!! But hey, we are talking about lawyers here, so I guess the jokes are true.

   Caroline has, not for the first time in my life, been fabulous. She's offered an amazing standard of service from start to finish. She's the opposite of the stereotypical image of the lawyer "bumping up" their fees and she has consistently dissuaded me from any litigation which wasn't 100% necessary. She's always been there at the end of the phone whenever I've needed her and is a really genuine and pleasant lady to work with. Mike Toolan

Besides the fact that Caroline Swain is excellent at her job she is also an extremely compassionate lady for this I was truly grateful for.    Caroline and her team have been dealing with my sister's divorce for several months. It was a tricky situation to deal with but the service we received was none other than outstanding. They has always been friendly and approachable with all the different questions we have put to them.    There are many words to describe Caroline and her team at BPS Family Law in Hale but the word that stands out the most is they were Simply Outstanding. I found Caroline and her team to be very personable and have a great bedside manner. Each stage was explained in a very simple and concise way through my divorce and they would bend over backwards to make sure their client was happy. Recommending their services is done without hesitation.

   I found the whole process with Caroline and the team at BPS Law (under the circumstances) quite pleasurable! In fact, working with them as a team, it was harder moving house than going though the Divorce process. I'm a (happy) year down the line and still in contact with Caroline, however more on a friendship basis, although the after-service I received is second to none. Amazing practice and highly recommend to anyone. They (esp Caroline) "get you" and I'm a tricky person to get!
