   We’ve been using Smithys Autos in Knowsley Village for several years now, and they’ve consistently delivered honest, reliable, and highly competent service across everything we’ve brought them — which is quite a mix! From the Jaguar XE and Jeep, through to the classic '80s Corvette (with all its charmingly outdated tech), they’ve always handled each job with confidence and genuine care. Nothing fazes them — not even oddball wiring or rare parts — and they’re more than happy to explain what’s going on in a way that actually makes sense. They now also look after our daughter’s cars — a 2017 astra k and her two Kia Rio's before that — and the service is just as thorough and fairly priced every time. It's reassuring knowing she can bring her car in and get straight answers and solid work without any of the usual garage nonsense. The whole team are friendly, easy to deal with, and clearly take pride in what they do. You’re never just another number here — they remember your car, your name, and the quirks of each vehicle like they’re working on their own fleet. If you’re anywhere near Knowsley and want a garage that knows what they’re doing and treats customers right, Smithys is the place.

   Can't fault the service from here. Price and work all spot on, made up with it - will return to here in future. Had a new clutch done on a Kia Rio and the car now drives a LOT better, happy days. Thanks lads. Edit: just picked up my Dad's car from them too for a big timing chain job. Again - went above and beyond. These are very honest lads and I've recommended them to everyone.

   Paid nearly £400 last night for MOT works that needed doing, for lights not to be working and me breaking down 5 minutes after picking it up. Due to picking it up after hours I wasnt able to ring the garage. They have messed with my battery and failed to notify me to say that they couldnt start the car when carrying out the MOT repairs but didn't fail to ring me to collect my payment which I paid in full over the phone no mention of battery issues. Rang them this morning to get a male talking over me and not letting me explain, saying he tried to call me before half 5, not 1 missed call or message or anything from anyone, . AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Garage just send me "proof" of them calling me at 5.08pm rang wrong number.. funny how they haven't rang the wrong number to collect the payment.

   Best place EVER but if thay ask you for your ( lock- in-nuts) ask them first to look at your nuts, lol on wheels as I had a hour and 20 minutes round trip to find out I had no locking NUT'S on my car. Tell them lady with black Mercedes got them these point's. Ive called the lad with a bearded lock in nut lol. Ive used them since 18 now 46. Great men went there yesterday 20 mins I was out .Top Men

   Fantastic garage. Have taken my car here for just over two years since it was recommended by work colleagues. Never once have I ever felt ripped off - quite the opposite. Really friendly and professional service. Each visit - whether for a full service, MOT or to check out a slightly suspect noise - they've given great advice and never charged unnecessarily. One of those garages that when you find it, you stick with it forever. Can recommend them highly enough.
