What a gem. Kids played in the park but it was so cold we popped in for coffee and found a great venue for all of us. A large play room and activities for the 4-7 year olds and a toddler corner in the cafe. There was even a surprise visit from Santa. Staff were friendly, drinks and cake were great value. Will return.

Had a lovely latte in here with new owners after going to yoga class. Really lovely staff, chatty and friendly and they have loads of new stuff to buy. There is a cute kids kitchen play area now and still great for dog walkers, I love seeing the dogs. Lovely place for Sunday coffee and they had Christmas themed specials which I’ll definitely try next time

A great place to have tea/coffee and cake/ ice cream or a light lunch. Right in the middle of the park, close to play equipment, plenty of seating, great food and friendly, helpful staff. We have been temporarily renting a room at the back for our church meetings too and that has worked out very well.

This is a simple but cute little cafe in the old cricket pavilion actually in Whyteleafe Park, with lovely views over the patk. It has outside benches and a little function room (ideal for kids parties). The food and drinks are consistently good. (We've been meeting up there for a few years now). The poached egg on crushed avocado is definitely the best in the area. I use it as a bench mark.

This is a response to a review posted back in December by Ella Zoon in which she gave a one star rating. The given basis for this review was the proprietors of the cafe did not give her a bag to carry a wreath home which she had made after volunteering earlier that day in the park area. The cafe provided the food for the volunteering event which was delicious, but had nothing to do with the organisation of the event including the provision of a bag to take the wreath home. This was a volunteering day for the Downlands Partnership by Fidelity staff, supported by the Downlands Trust. To criticise the cafe is completely unfair and unjustified. This is a great small business that puts on so much in the local community. Please if you are going to give negative feedback to a business make sure it is directed to the right place and is justified. The cafe and owners did not deserve this.

This is the best cafe in the area due mainly to the superb service, in particular Kelly. Always attentive and professional she is a credit to the owner who needs to pay her in gold bars. Always positive and upbeat - and a great cook too!

Had my daughters birthday party in the function room, from first enquiry to the end of the party Pamela and the team have been great in their responses, answering queries and even helping us set up. Great looking room (we had the party package) with very easy to use tech. Highly recommend! Thanks again :) This is also a beautiful cafe to add to the park, which we’re lucky enough to have as our local

Lovely little café in the park with view of the playground. Very friendly staff who happily and readily accommodated our picky eaters breakfast request (Scrambled egg on toast, no add-ons). The food was delicious and the outside seating just right (some deck chairs as well as benches with tables).
