Lovely food and friendly staff. Fred is a top guy, always smiling and happy to serve. This is a proper cafe, none of that hoyty toyty poncy bistro stuff.
Best Cafe I've been to for a long while! Food is plentiful, really tasty and cooked well, with a good variety of menu options. The owner is both friendly and polite. The amount of food you get for the price is astonishing in this day and age. Proper old style cafe, serving good quality food with a smile. What more can you ask for?

Popped into George's cafe today as i was working local. Hadn't been here for nearly 3 years. It's still the best breakfast in town serving 3 slices of bacon on their set breakfasts. Hasn't changed a bit. A very friendly family run cafe.
Just celebrated my wife birthday with a cooked breakfast delivered from George's cafe. It was great. Never used them before but definitely will be going back there again.
