Loved popping in here for a coffee and an extremely delicious almond croissant. Not sure what to expect as we were only visiting the area, we stumbled across this cute little place in the middle of a park. First impressions were really good especially when you're greeted by baskets of fresh crusty bread that you can purchase. The menu was decent and the coffee was excellent. It was a joy watching the little ones popping in and out. Very welcoming, really enjoyable experience

Great little cafe with a nice selection of pastries and food. It has really good Colombian coffee as well. The plants add to a nice atmosphere. There is also a nice covered kids play area at the back.

I really wanted to love this place but left a bit disappointed twice. Short: Nice location and good seating but stale pastries and staff friendly yet untrained, and noisy at times. Long review below. The Good: * Located in a little quiet park/playground and has good outdoor and indoor seating * Table spaces great for both conversations and using a laptop. There is room for a few prams and dogs too. * Excellent selection of pastries, cakes, soups, baps and donuts. * Staff is friendly and attentive. The Bad: * Varying food and drink quality - Donuts and cakes tasted like they were at least a day old, soup was watery and clearly heated from frozen, and the milk in my oat late tasted like it had gone off (was it even oat milk??) * Forgetful staff asked for order three times on multiple occasions (with me and others) and doesn't seem to know their own menu fully. * Noisy staff - half the time the atmosphere is great for conversation, relaxing or working (a bit of chatter and background music) but occasionally staff decided to have very loud conversations across the small room and dragged chairs and tables quite loudly. Usually not a big deal but there were two sleeping infants and two tables turned their heads clearly interrupted in their conversation. I got really excited when I found the place and will probably return, just wish the staff would read the room more and maybe trade food variety for quality/freshness.

For me, as a father, this is a firm favourite café largely due to the location - it is situated in a great play area, so you can get food and coffee and have a break with your toddler as part of an outdoor play session. There is a collection of children's books just inside the door, so we'll typically borrow a couple of them to read in the café with a coffee and a babyccino and then go on to the playground. The service has always been great for us and the coffee and food has never disappointed!
