A great little bistro with friendly service and a cosy feel. Perfect for a casual catch-up especially Jansel, she was so welcoming and put a smile on my face. I will highly recommend this cafe!! The food is 10/10

I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad from this cafe for £13 and my god was it inedible. It was so unbelievably sour! There is no reason for there to be pomegranate molasses and !VINEGAR! In a chicken Caesar salad, it was just atrocious. Not only was it so sour that I couldn’t finish it, there was no romaine lettuce in my salad, only those mix salads that you get at Tescos that come in bags. There was no Parmesan cheese either. Honestly it was hardly a chicken Caesar salad, there was just so much sauce in it that you were basically drinking sour sauce with a side of ready mix salad. I am writing this review so that you can take into consideration how a Caesar salad should actually be made and make alterations to your recipe. There is no reason for you to drown the salad in pomegranate molasses in it!!! Not everything needs a Turkish spin, it’s better off doing it the traditional way.

Lovely team and great food. The little touch of the pomegranate with the scrambled eggs and salmon was a delightful addition. Highly recommend for a sophisticated breakfast!

Updated review: I’ve been back since and had a nice meal but decided to look at the food hygiene rating today and note that it is 1/5, major improvements necessary especially around management of food safety. The waitresses are so lovely, the coffee is great, the general vibe is so nice so I will be returning for sure for coffee but not for food until they’ve had their next inspection. Review from September ‘25: My friend got food poisoning from a halloumi and avocado salad yesterday. The food in general looks nice, mine was good and reasonable price but not worth returning due to the risk of becoming unwell. Happy to discuss with the cafe if they’d like to contact to investigate.

I have walked past this place many times without going in and it always has plenty of people. Went with friends for a weekday brunch. Nice, friendly staff. No problem ordering gluten free. Will definitely be going again.

Great local cafe come Bistro! Great decor that invites you in and makes you want to stay a while..... i.e. cosy! Staff are attentive and friendly - the cafe was quite busy when we stopped by for lunch, but our drinks arrived quickly, followed a short while later by our food. I ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast, which was great. The scrambled eggs were spot on, and the portion sizes just right! Coffee was great as well. My wife went for the pancakes and bacon, which looked delicious. All in all, a perfect local spot for a breakfast or brunch etc.

Had breakfast here with a friend on a Saturday morning before Christmas. It was excellent. Perfectly cooked full English breakfast (with mushroom and tomato delete at my request :-) ), freshly squeezed apple juice and a cappuccino. Excellent food. Good friendly service. Clean and welcoming interior. Thoroughly recommend.

First timer! I visited today at 11:30 as I have seen this place become fairly busy during the day. The cafe was clean, tidy and I thought it was well decorated. Even though it wasn't the warmest of days I felt the atmosphere inside had it's own warmth/vibe. The service was fairly fast. The food was tasty and I really liked the presentation of the English breakfast! The coffee was nice and strong as well, not watery more creamy. Overall, I rate this highly as a cafe. I would recommend to friends and family. I will be back soon :) I'll take pictures next time. As promised, here's a picture of the traditional English breakfast. It was very nice and highly recommended. The coffee is nice and strong too!

Really good. We stopped here for breakfast, the food was really good and tasty, the coffees/orange juice came at the same time as the food, the food did come quiet quick, but a little wait for drinks. But don't let that put you off. It is worth a visit. The orange juice was really good. The decor was nice and the place was very clean. The staff were very friendly.
