The best couple run this, my husband and I visit most Fridays as a lunchtime treat. Food is fresh and service with a smile and a chat. Pick this over a chain anytime
This is a lovely little cafe, with nice food. However, a word of warning! I visited recently with my daughter and 4 year old grandson. There is no kids menu (not unusual for a cafe) so we just ordered him 1 sausage and some scrambled egg. They charged us £8.50 for this! My daughter's brie, bacon and cranberry panini was only £6.80. I find this outrageous and actually quite unkind! Surely, they could have let us know when ordering, so we could have chosen more wisely. We have visited many times before but this has put me off going again.
Popped in for a very quick lunch, never been before, what a fab place! Prompt and pleasant service. Menu extensive and all items tempting. Good food, great value. Unfortunately we live 70 miles away otherwise I would be here every week! Thank you!

Love this place, it has personality. Maria and Aldo are fun and friendly, and take care of their customers. The food is delicious, and Aldo makes a mean latte.

A lovely little gem on the High Street and a great place to get some quick food if you don't feel like visiting a chain restaurant. The two owners are lovely and friendly, and the sandwiches are delicious with a great variety to choose from on the menu. Would definitely recommend for a quicker and cheaper option on the High Street.
