What a gem of a Cafe this is! It was recommended to us by my wife's aunt, who lives in the area and used to stop in with her late husband for a drink and a bite to eat, and I can see why! The warmth of welcome from Enita, Elisa and Nonna Maria reminds that even in these divided times we live in, for some people community and curiosity in your fellow humans is still alive! It's a lovely place to sit, chat, people watch. The menu, with it's blend of traditional dishes alongside the more exotic choice - such as the palestinian shakshoukeh dish I had (pictured) is both hearty, interesting and great value. Whilst a 100,000 people marched on the otherside of London wanting their country back, we sat admist the vibrant, ethnically diverse Wood Green community and all was well. We'll be back. Thank you Enita, Elisa and Maria.

We had the most wonderful experience at the Old Station Yard CafΓ©! From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with such warmth and kindness β€” it genuinely felt like walking into a family home. Enitan and her daughter were the perfect hosts, so welcoming and friendly, it made our afternoon extra special. There’s such a lovely community feel to the cafΓ© β€” everyone is greeted like an old friend, and the atmosphere is full of heart. And the banana and chocolate cake? Absolutely unbelievable β€” rich, moist, and packed with flavour. Honestly one of the best cakes we've ever had! My mum and I had such a good time, we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for such a beautiful experience β€” we’ll definitely be back!

This cafΓ© captures the simple joys we often overlook in life. With its laid-back, cozy atmosphere, it invites you to slow down and just enjoy the moment. There’s a genuine sense of love, joy, and passion here β€” not only in the ambiance but also in every dish they serve. A truly heartwarming spot.

I recently visited this charming cafΓ© and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming β€” perfect for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. You can tell they put a lot of care into everything they serve. The dΓ©cor has a modern yet comfortable feel, with just the right touch of personality. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a place that combines great service, delicious food and drinks, and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything was cooked fresh. Homemade hash browns, Palestinian flat bread and really reasonably well priced. Better to get the set menus than customise from scratch as that can be more expensive.

Ordered lunch for 25 seniors. Food was delicious and enjoyed by seniors. The bbq chicken was soft and juicy, potato salad great!!! I must say the vegetarian Pasties was sensational! Thanks Enitan for even giving us seniors, a discount. We really, really appreciated it. We will be back again for your delicious food.

Such a cute cafe with a great selection of tasty food. I always go for a sausage sandwich with brown sauce and a latte. The taste is sensational and the sausages a high quality which fills me up for the best part of the day. Enita and her team are kind and fun people who are wonderful to be around. I will miss this place insanely as I am about to embark on new adventure. Missing you already x

Strange little place. Essentially a greasy spoon/working men's cafe in a tiny trading estate. While the coffee is good and the staff are pleasant, sitting inside is heavy with fried food smells and sitting outside is like having coffee in the car park.....

I discovered this place after a friend told me about it, and as it's no more than a stroll away, I was able to join her before she had swallowed more than a few bites of what looked to be a rather tasty omelette. Seeing the size of the courtyard and its location out of sight and smell of the pollution of Wood St, I immediately thought of my cycling group, where about half are either vegan or vegetarian, so when I went to order, my first questions covered the subject. Curiosity satisfied, I then ordered what had leaped to my attention from the comprehensive menu - a meat feast of two of the East London Sausage Company's finest bangers married to two rashers of their best back bacon. Consternation abounded, only sorted by my explanation that my sordid devotion to the carnivore cause is only mitigated by my need to cater for the needs of those who join my social bike rides, and since I had only my self to consider, I thought I would treat myself. Which I did. It was DELICIOUS, and subsequent visits allowed me to explore the rest of the menu, to my replete satisfaction. One of these days I'll even bring a bike ride here...
