The café has a lovely interior and the coffee was good. I hate to leave a negative review, but unfortunately I had higher expectations for both the food and the service, especially as this visit was for a birthday breakfast. The overall service was not particularly friendly, my egg was watery and the meal was served cold. When I politely asked for it to be reheated, I heard the chef shout “omg” and slam the microwave. I understand that these situations can be frustrating, but customers should not be made aware of that frustration. Overall, I had hoped for a more welcoming and professional experience, which made this visit disappointing.

This is a lovely little cafe. If you are ever in the area you should pop in. Good selection of hot and cold beverages and nice sweet and savoury snacks. Hot plates of food available. The plates I saw coming out looked fantastic. I had a very decent coffee and delicious piece of cake. Staff were warm and welcoming. Great place for family and friends or even for a day date.

Been here a few times and the food is always top quality with lovely coffee. The service is usually good and pleasant. Took off a star as today the staff member at the counter, told me and my daughter as we were waiting for the loo (wasn't a long queue) 'You can use the toilets in the pub opposite as they have two and we only have one!' This is strange to send paying customers (over a busy road) to another establishment? Perhaps the staff member didn't realise we were customers (we had just finished in the outside area after spending quite alot of money) but she didn't ask, and we left feeling like we shouldn't be using the facilities there.

I had to travel to Keston for a family event and wanted us to gather for brunch before. Heathfields was perfect. Hasn’t been before but received a very warm welcome. Big table in the window seated us all (7) and was a lovely setting. Sunday Brunch all round; Eggs Benedict, Crushed Arvo on toast. All food excellent. If I lived locally I’d be here very weak!

Beautiful cafe. I just had breakfast with four of my friends who are visiting from Birmingham and California. Delicious breakfast, with many options. Coffee is amazing. Friendly staff and very attentive to us customers. This will be my new breakfast place to go to. Will definitely come back.

Such a wonderful place to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat. Atmosphere is cosy and friendly, coffee is always good and served with a fresh carafe of cucumber water. Amazing selection of fresh made breakfast/brunch or lunch dishes which you will struggle to choose from because of the wonderful choices on offer. Today I really enjoyed their smoked salmon, scrambled egg and crushed avocado on sourdough toast with dill dressing. It was so tasty. The smoked salmon wasn't too strong or too salty, the scrambled egg was not over cooked but moist and soft and the dill dressing was not in anyway overpowering, which was fantastic because I'm not a great dill fan. I've also heard (but as of yet not experienced) their weekend tapas evenings are really delicious and looking at their selection of wines on offer it looks like something I definitely need to try. All in all I'd recommend you give it a try because I know you won't be disappointed. Oh and to top it all the staff are lovely.

Great place to stop off for lunch on drive out of London to Kent countryside. Friendly attentive staff and flavoursome food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stop and a stroll around the common in Keston. Photo: rocket salad on sourdough bread with salmon and mocha coffee

The best brunch in Bromley! Visited for my birthday and it was everything you want for a lazy brunch. The outdoor area was cozy, even on a cold, wet day, and well set up for doggy visitors (she loved the doggy sausage!). The special avocado toast was delicious (definitely add the poached egg!) and the big breakfast was eaten with no complaints (and not a bean left behind). We stuck around for the cake which was hand delivered by a local baker while we were eating. The spiced fig cake was a must-try. And I nearly forgot - the coffee is so good we had seconds.
