Brought my car in for it's MOT, after having paid out for loads of work and having part's replaced at a previous garage. They failed it's MOT citing some of the part's id recently had replaced. The tester would not speak to me, even when I waited 30 minutes. They even failed it citing passenger window wipers not working when that's not even required. I called up later and just got told to go to DVLA. No further explanation for failing brand new part's. Rip off this garage stay away. Another mechanic in the same garage even said he'd have passed it and that the tester was overly critical.
Avoid avoid avoid. It's a shame I cant call them out on the Crosby bubble either. Failing car mot on the incorrect things that have either no bearing on the test or have already had a new part replaced elsewhere. Even colleagues would have passed it. However I'm sure all their delta taxis are above board. Mot tester didn't even come out to explain himself either. Just interested in money and nothing else. Stay clear! Trading standards and mot appeals process here I come
Brought my car in for a quote for some damage to the side. Joe looked at it and told me it was a quick job and he could put right there and then, which he did. Wouldn’t charge me. Car looks brilliant. Thank you so much for not ripping me off! Will definitely recommend.
Excellent service, car has had a noise coming from one of the back wheels, been checked out by BMW mini twice who couldn’t find anything wrong. Took it to Deltawho checked it over and all looked like the wheel bearing which was changed but didn’t solve the problem, so they put it all back together and carried on investigating and then told me to have the back tyres checked , took it to Willow who said the tyre was cobbling which was causing the noise. Delta didn’t charge for the work they did, fantastic service, will always go there from now on, can’t recommend highly enough.
scraped the van. took it to delta fixed the bodywork like new. wasnt cheap ( after vat) but it was self inflicted so will learn from my mistake. Delta did do a very good job and called me when it was ready
I won’t take my cars anywhere else. I’ve been taking in my Insignia and my Q3 in for there for a few years now. Offer great advice ,good prices and sound lads.
The 3 star was firstly for the time taken which you advised was 1 hour maximum and had me wait for over 1 hour 30 minutes, secondly my review was simply my experience with delta i have been to other taxi mot stations and have had a better experience and time is money not just for garages for us customers too! I had advised the garage i am a part time private hire driver which must mean i have a full time schedule else where timelines were given as exact amount as i quote it has to be logged on system take maximum hour, i came 1020 left at 12.10pm .

Picked my "repaired car" up- all looked ok when inspected at the garage, but when I got home I found numerous faults with the repairs. Avoid! **Update** After at least 3 failed attempts to fix my car and escalating the issue with the insurance company managed to take the car to a different repairer, who found that parts that delta should of replaced (like the black metal crash bar as in picture) hadn't been done. This is basically defrauding the insurance company and allowing me to drive away in a car with in-complete and possibly unsafe (should I be crashed in to the back of again) repair.
