Doesn't appear to be a cafe here. Toilets locked. A building that looks derelict may have been the cafe!! Paid 2.90 for parking before we realised that everything is shut up!
Probably very good, but not open when advertised! Feb 12 is not the height of the visiting season, agreed.

This hideout cafe is good to have because you can buy souvenirs that you can take home with you and can have icecreams too.
A small but useful shop that serves the nature reserve very well and you can purchase or hire binoculars from them as well as gifts from the shop and a small cafeteria for tea,coffee,crisps etc and the staff are very efficient at dealing with any enquiries about the nature reserve
Really nice staff/volunteers who couldn't have been more helpful to us on our short visit. I would highly recommend popping in for a map then heading out for a walk. When you're good and frozen come back for a lovely coffee.
