First time at this cafe as was passing through and I must say it's really really good. The price is really good and the portions are ridiculously generous..on top of my big breakfast they give toast or butter and bread and tea or coffee at no extra cost. This place looks after it's people and it's very affordable for all. Good job. 5*****

I don’t usually do English breakfasts… as such. And wasn’t really feeling it today either.. But thought why not.. Best decision ever..!! Absolutely the best breakfast I’ve ever had, way better than anything I’ve had including high end hotels. Superb… Quality bacon, and I mean quality, none of the thin or wafer thin cheap stuff. Proper sausage too, great chips and beans as well. Staff are really friendly and polite, and all is clean all around. It was that good even took a picture and sent it to a mate, who replied with an obscene comment about how good it looked.. and he’s an English breakfast connoisseur.

The best cafe in the area! Now open on Sunday!!!! The cafe is under new ownership so I've decided to delete my pervious reviews. The food here is still outstanding and the new owner Sergi has kept using the same quality products from before. The bacon and sausage are excellent here! We've also got some lunches added to the menu including a delicious shepherd's pie and they still sell lovely milkshakes. Free WI-FI available Although the pervious owners will be missed the new team here are polite, attentive and professional and food is very fairly priced with excellent size portions. We even have a TV to watch in there now. Highly recommended

Helen and I regularly visit here, it's one of the nicest cafes around and fortunately for us it's right on our doorstep! It changed hands a few months ago and initially we were worried that the quality might suffer, but in fact the opposite has happened with some added items expanding the menu. A competitor recently moved in up the road and charges twice the cost of the Halfway Cafe for exactly the same quality, which to me sums up just how good value the Halfway Cafe is. Just a quick nod to the staff too, from top to bottom they are a real happy and friendly bunch, we thoroughly recommend this place in every way!

A super cafe. The owner is incredibly gracious and makes you feel very welcome. Service is always with a friendly smile and nothing is too much trouble. The portions are very generous and the price is exceptional for the quality. The chef knows his stuff and makes it look easy, I've still yet to try so many items. Have to try their Spaghetti Bolognese and burgers still. This is how you run a cafe.

Absolutely bangin brekky. CLASSIC cafe. I had mushroom omelette, chips and beans, hubby had the builders breakfast. Large portions, all hot and delicious with a big mug of tea. Great value, great service.
