This is so much more than a library. It offers people of every age something to do, how they do it all is beyond me! Youth, toddlers, mums, financial advice, quiz nights, games nights, so much on every week, lovley food in the cafe, very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit!
Fantastic library, lived here all my life and recently moved back so lovely to see the library still going strong. So relaxing and clean, with the added bonus of coffee and cake bar which my Dad frequently enjoys!

Brilliant Library. Staff are friendly and helpful. Loads of children books and some fun activities for kids. highly recommend.
Glad to be able to visit again after a long time. The staff and atmosphere are as lovely as always. Great place to have some quiet time with little children or a coffee with a friend in the café.
Clean friendly and COVID safe. Staff are always pleasant and friendly, and above all the environment is safe to bring my children. Unlike other libraries I have been to recently, I was asked to sign in upon entry, and saw staff regularly wipe down all tables and high touch points after use. Thank you Blackfen library, keep up the good work!
Beautiful little community library nestled in the heart of Blackfen. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff who are always willing to help. The coffee shop is also a nice touch and added bonus. Plus there's free WiFi, cheap books to purchase and printing/photocopying services as well as the usual book loans and community groups. Worth a visit and a great place to support.
