    If I could do 0 stars I would. We arrived around 5pm and were told if we want to order we would need to “hurry up” and upon ordering we were treated as though we were a nuisance not paying customers. They then proceeded to stay open an hour after our order. The overpriced food and drink I can deal with but the pure disregard for hospitality is what will ensure I don’t come back. Would only recommend if I dislike you.

    I come to Millie’s Coffee House in the park with my daughter today. I’ve been teaching my daughter the value of money and so she had £2 to spend.. this wasn’t enough for what she wanted and so I went to pay by card the minimum spend was £5 which was fine but I was trying to still see if she had more money for her to pay! The blonde old lady who looked like she was rude, abrupt and come across impatient. We paid and sat down for her to then continue telling another staff member what had happened and talking badly about me and my daughter. Absolutely disgraceful service

    Inside large parts of the baked potatoes were off colour and tasted foul, but when I took it back the lady just shook her head and said no, that's what they're supposed to taste like. Being on the older side I pointed out I've had them all my life and they never looked or tasted like that, which got me a begrudging swap to a baguette. This was nothing special but edible. Service was incredibly rude and impatient from the start when I was told there's no tuna and I had to come up with an alternative almost immediately, despite no queue. Then one lady tried to deny my chips order at first, until the other came to my rescue. They don't like card payments but having the transaction in the banking app seems advisable. The coffee was an undrinkable bilge. I don't expect much from a park cafe (although many are surprisingly good these days), but this one is absolutely the pits and ruins a nice park. Do yourself a favour and bring a picnic or go elsewhere. (I couldn't figure out the high star rating, but some reviews seem to be for the park and not the cafe).

    Paid a passing visit to the park after many years, the park is still beautiful and clean. The cafe at the back on the other hand was dreadful with the utmost rudest staff around. Clearly they have a monopoly in the park with visitors having no choice but to purchase from them at the extremely high end price for medicore items. The most shocking part was when I stood waiting for my item to be served the staff were really arrogant and rude with all of their customers!!! in particular I felt bad for a woman who appeared to be of eastern European descent that had asked a simple question but all three of the women made faces and shouted at her and basically told her to do one!! Going by all the reviews here we are not the only ones having had this experience. The management for that cafe really need to have a hard look at themselves you all need to do better!! But I doubt you will!! Keep laughing away and making your silly faces!!

    Nice choice of items on the menu. Including duck food. Made fresh. Covered picnic table seating. Very convenient for children's play area, toilets and tennis courts.

    Out for a run on a hot day with no bank cards or money, mistake granted…… I asked them for some water for the dog to which they responded that the tap water wasn’t for drinking… Poor fella is parching here, completely unnecessary and frankly quite cruel

    Better than the usual park cafe, hot and cold food, nuggets and chips, fresh donuts, gingerbread latte (delicious), cinnamon latte, whippy ice-creams etc. Seating area and toilets round the side of the building. Long queues when it gets busy but fast moving. Take cash and card. No water for dogs though :-(
