One of the better Costas out there. One gripe I have about this Costa is it being located in an upper floor that was built with a very lightweight design. This results in me being able to feel the vibration of every footstep around me when I am sitting in one of the chairs. It can be disruptive to some people, but not everyone. They keep AC on during winter for some reason.

Large Costa branch collocated upstairs in Next. Bacon sandwich was ok and the server kindly offered sauces with it. That was the upside of the visit. The rest was poor. The barista making the coffees managed to get more of the espresso outside of the cup than in the cup. When she noticed that I was watching she remade it. Itβs clear she would have just served it. Have to say the coffee was weak for a medium size. As for the rest of the experience there were plenty of empty seats but all the tables were covered in empty plates and cups. Partly I blame customers but equally with three staff I would have expected more effort in clearing the empty tables. Overall a poor experience and wonβt be back.

Today I went to the Costa shop in the Costa Galyons shopping center to drink coffee. I got my coffee and wanted to go to the sink and wash my hands. Unfortunately, the sink was closed and locked. Customers said they did not open it. They lined up garbage cans haphazardly in front of the sink. I did not find that appropriate for Costa Coffee. The store I went to in Costa Coffe is the coffee shop on the upper floor of the Next store in the Galyons Becton Shop. It is very awful. I would never recommend it to anyone. It was my last visit and I will never come here again to drink coffee etc.

**Update 2024 2 Star Rating** Consistency is very important. Even when you have a high turnover of staff. July 2024, my first Cortado at this branch situated within next. The staff were friendly and polite. The drink was extremely hot, too hot for a coffee. The ratio was completely out of sync. Tasted extremely watery. Not great at all. Suggest this franchise to invest in training. **Updated 2023 5 Star Rating** What a difference a year makes?! I've used this restaurant on several occasions during July & August 2023, and wow does the coffee taste good. The barista knows her drinks and is spot on every time! I hope they maintain this standard, will visit again in a years time! My go to drink is a Cortado! **2022 - 1 Star Rating** Restaurant was generally clean and tidy. Barista area was not up to scratch. Cups used to pour espresso shots were dirty with previously overflowing coffee stains. The barista should keep their own area spotless. I ordered cortado, ended up with a very milky coffee which was more like a latte. To be honest, I expect better from specialist coffee shop, I think McDonald's would have probably been better on this occasion.

Awful experience. Me and my fiancΓ© are regular costumers at Costa. Normally we always visit the branch in Mile End but we tried this one and honestly worst costumer service ever. Staff very rude, particularly the Asian guy saying that the product is not available (Mango frappe with boba) and they stopped doing it, seems funny as we had the drink literally the day before. As we didnβt have enough, he told us straightforward to go back at Mile End and what we are doing here, very unprofessional. Reach Beckton branch afterwards, close less than one mile. They had the drink plus the boba. Never again.

Now as you can tell from a costa fan. But lord knows whatβs gone wrong here. We was one of the first in the store this morning. THIS is NOT aimed at any member of staff as Iβm a strong believer that most care about their role and want to do a good job. The tables where dirty with squashed chocolate on the one we sat at. When my wife asked for a cloth to wipe the table down. She was told they didnβt have any. Look at the photos when tables where cleared they want wiped down. Staff seemed short on the ground not enough time to do the job properly Hospitalityβs Iβd in dire need of people we have literally seen them on the news. But hey let run what we have into the ground so they leave the sector as well Poor show Cheers DR

Very nice location, for car drivers this is perfect as itβs free parking. Nice clean store, connected with Next clothing store just take the escalator up and turn right. A lot of spaces to choose from with a beautiful view outside the store with large Glass panels. Very welcoming staff who are friendly and very professional. Canβt fault their work ethic at all. Came here first time for a reunion with my colleagues I have not seen since furlough. Would definitely recommend this place to catch up with anyone or to enjoy a nice refreshing drink Instore or takeaway.

Nice clean Costa in Next with large windows to give you a view of the gallons reach. Great place to sit and chill and allow the other half to shop. Also has a toilet which comes in use especially with little ones.
