First time that I have sat down to have food here. The food itself was fine, standard stuff for an english breakfast. Did ask for a veggie breakfast but they were out of veggie sausages - no replacement offered This is the first cafe that I have been to that didn't offer toast as part of their set items. I don't know if this is now standard for cafes but I was shocked. It would have been an extra £1.60 for two pieces of bread. Fortunately I asked to have the toast instead of the sausages Customer service needs a bit of work, maybe having a bell on the counter or chime on the door would stop the wait for other customers. English not being the first language of the lady on the counter was a slight barrier in terms of explanations

Was ok, lots of choices, if you want a breakfast on a morning and your passing and not expecting too much, pop in here, it’s just fine, does the job, nothing fancy . Clean and tidy , not bad.

Me & my colleague went in and he had irdered, the lady went off to cook the food and didn’t take my order. I had to walk to the kitchen to put my order in. We then waited 20+ mins for our food. I ordered a cheeseburger and a soup. The burger was VILE. Cheap quality and didn’t even taste like a burger. I had a mouthful and left it. The soup, being £5… I expected a lovely home made soup but no. It was a tin of heinz tomato soup. To charge £5 for a soup I can buy in the shop for 89p I extortionate. Never been to a cafe like it. Poor service Cheap food Rubbish quality Overpriced for the food we were served never again!!

It's a cafe and very much as expected for cafe food! I'm rating a 5 because service is great and it's clean and welcoming. The portion size for approx £9/£10 is large and I took away half my meal for later in the day. The food is tasty. They provide a fresh salad. All around a better lunch than sandwiches from the co-op!

My first visit here as Ali who ran the Romford Cafe (at Romford Station) has moved here. He is just finding his feet here and I know he will soon have things up and running as he did with the Romford Cafe. Only a short bus ride from the station and I will continue to support such a hardworking, kind and lovely man who puts his customers at the top of his list when it comes to looking after his customers. Please pop in and support his continued success.

Abigail's Cafe, 68 Dagenham Road, Romford, Essex, RM7 0DA, 23rd September 2019. Now I know that this review is almost six months since I visited, but felt that because of the poor public Relations Skills of the Lady that served (do not know if it was Abigail herself whom I had the misfortune of being served by). This personality Bypass Woman was surly and and looked as if the only way a smile could be put on her face was for it to be put there surgically. The food was nice, but purely because of the actions of the Femal Slob behind the Counter I will not be returning there Did feel sorry for the Male Chef as he at least put the repulsive Woman to shame by thankinh me for my custon as I was leaving. It stated that Free Wifi was available, but asking MIss Laugh-Minute about this only got me a grunt which I believed to be her version of yes.
