   I chose this company because of their google reviews. The reviews I read compared to the service I received do not match. Carl requested fees to be paid before my settlement was agreed, red flag. Naively I paid him before the settlement was agreed. After the settlement was paid I emailed Carl and his PA, Julie Grewer, to ask to challenge the payment terms of the agreement, that was the 29th February. It’s the 20th March today and I’ve still had no response from either of them. If you choose to use GunnerCooke as representation please don’t pay them until all terms are finalised.

Jeremy prepared the lease for letting my shop - under The Landlords and Tenant Act - very quickly grasped my concerns - (from previous bad experience of tenants as well as solicitors) and points of view and handled them quickly and with empathy. They were transparent about what was needed of me at each stage (and what is not), demonstrating their knowledge and expertise. I actually moved solicitors to Gunnercooke because I was having such a poor experience with another solicitor. So I was thankful for their professionalism, trustworthiness and prompt communication.    From day one this firm made mistakes on doing probate by mixing up who I was having it for, also lack of vital information was given by them on regular intervals which would have had a different outcome. Poor communication. Edit over Response.... Tried to resolve it but only to be told i could not as the documents i supplied were now stored by HM tax office and won't be able to be given back. Not at any time was i told about this or warned, if i had been i would have taken copies.Plus chasing your staff for updates was beyond a joke.
