✨ A Charming Escape at The Tearooms on the Pantiles ✨ We had the loveliest time at "Tea on the Pantiles" the other day — a true little gem tucked away in Bexleyheath. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with Regency charm: elegant portraits, whimsical quote plaques, beautifully laid tables with fresh flowers, crisp linens and proper china cups. It felt like stepping into a comforting, bygone era. Afternoon tea was just £19.50 per person and included a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, a large warm fruit or plain scone with clotted cream and jam, a generous slice of cake from the counter, and unlimited pots of tea or coffee. We sat for hours, catching up and putting the world to rights over endless tea and cake — it was absolute bliss. We’ll definitely be back, but a little note: the tearoom is changing hands at the end of August, so if you want to experience the current team’s warm hospitality and enjoy the charming decor in all its quaint glory, now’s the time to visit!

Sandwiches are delicious and soft. You can pick the sandwich (from sandwich board) or scone (fruit or plain) you want. The scone was light and warm. Tea pot held numerous cups of tea. Will be back.

I’ve bought take away from here before and it’s been fine however today and ordered a panini n slice of cake. Got home n realised the cake was smallest segment of cake I’ve had before. Bit steep for £3.70 a slice.

Nice retro tea room ..small but perfectly formed with solid chairs, chinzy curtains and fine old bone china tea sets. Breakfast tasty...good , friendly service

Having had my own Teashop, this was disappointing.Sandwiches were bland and bread extremely cold, obviously straight out of fridge. No choices of tea offered and coffee tasted like any other packet or machine coffee. Apparently they have not been open very long.....lots of improvements needed

A lovely, well presented tea room. The decor was beautiful and the food was amazing. We were there for a house viewing and glad that we found this place. The owner and the staff were attentive and friendly. I look forward to many more visits!!!
