What a gem ❤️ we are from wales attending a show at the brandshatch circuit very close to this cafe. Beautiful breakfast and lovely setting! Best omelette I have ever had and the cakes are incredible. Staff are great too will definitely be coming back

Really enjoyed our visit to the kitchen. Went with my daughter. We both had the tea board. We upgraded the sandwich to a toastie and a smoked salmon bagel, which i thoroughly enjoyed. The scones were really tasty and fresh and we loved the cake too. Deffinately will go back.
Such a cute hidden gem! Food was so delicious and the hosts were so nice and hospitable! Best introduction to English breakfasts for my parents and I — the coffee and walnut cake and cookie were excellent too.
We came here a few weeks ago. Lovely little place and great atmosphere! Food was lovely and service was great. The only thing was the hash browns were awful. They weren’t cooked enough and were quite anemic and if you love a hash brown as much as I do you’ll know they need to be crispy!! It wasn’t just us, I saw a man with it too so maybe that’s just how they serve them? I was so glad I didn’t pay in advance for extra has browns. But everything else was lovely. Would definitely go back.

Visited The kitchen today for the first time since it reopened. What an improvement. Freshly cooked food, delicious cakes and great coffee. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and the place looks fantastic. I will definitely be back. If you’re in the area make sure you visit
Extremely disappointing visit. The new management are extremely off hand and haven’t bothered to consider what long standing customers have been ordering for years
This place is under new management who has turned it round completely. Bright open space, very clean and nice furniture and more importantly very nice cappuccino and food. Lovely cakes too and not too expensive. We will definitely come back as they deserve to do well.
Popped in with a friend this afternoon after grabbing some food. And it is definitely an improvement! And the price is very reasonable great quality tasty food! A positive change.
