   Edit- the reply is nonsense I always pay for my taxis and you can ask all the other services, plus I have loads of receipts to prove this… Do NOT use this service, I booked a taxi at half 4 for 5 at dinting station and they said it was fine and booked in for me. I get to the station at 5 and it’s not there, I wait 5 mins then I ring them, 10 rings later still no answer… standing here at 5:30 and still no taxi, now having to walk half an hour home… do not use this taxi service, awful…

   I was almost on the verge of an asthma attack and I only live around the corner from this taxi place. The operator on the phone said the taxi would only be 10 minutes as I needed to get to boots pharmacy which is also in the area. I waited over 30 minutes and the taxi still didn't show up, so I had to make my own way to boots pharmacy just making it in time before it shut to pick up my ventolin inhaler, I was almost completely out of breath and a customer outside the pharmacy asked me if i was ok after I picked up my prescription. I did try phoning the newline taxi operator before i decided to peril the journey myself yet all I got was a engaged/blocked number dialing tone. I did try calling another taxi company except they were engaged and potentially too far away for me to risk missing my prescription pickup so I had to get moving. Newline taxis put my health and life at risk of this day of this review (Friday 29 July 2022). What desecrates, ZERO Stars where applicable.

   I broke down in Tintwistle.. I don't know the area and phoned this company to get a taxi to the nearest petrol station and back to thr car .. really rude operator .. refused to give me an idea of price .. I needed to know this .. just kept saying it will be on the meter .. I've worked for a taxi form before and I know a competent operator would know a rough price .. she cut me off .. I called back 5 tines and 5 tines in a row she cut me off !!!!

   We called Newline from Crowden, after a tough walk on the first stage of the Pennine Way. The lady came on time and took us to Glossop Station. She was charming and reasonably priced. A perfect end to a perfect day of walking.
