This taxi driver I just had was truly amazing. Very chatty and looked after me on my journey to meet my wife at the hospital. I never got his name but I just want to say thank you so much for this driver.
Superb service. I had pre booked a taxi with another company for Saturday evening. That taxi did not arrive. So I Googled local taxi firms, New Moon. I gave them a ring and required taxi as soon as possible, No problem was the reply, will 20 minutes do, great I said and within that 20 minutes, I had 3 texts to thank me for the order, notify me where my taxi was, when the taxi had arrived. We got to our destination on time. I was amazed of how cheap the price was, needless to say I will be using this company from now on. Highly recommended, customer service, great five stars.
Sorry but I don’t feel happy with this company at the moment so I ain’t giving them a good review. Finished work at a Manchester venue tonight, Gold taxi and waited about 20 minutes for it rang the taxi number he said he was there when he wasn’t there he was nowhere to be seen. Apparently a taxi had gone way past it and couldn’t find the venue. Managed to get him on his phone 5 mins later as he hadn’t come back. Spent 5 mins trying to describe where the building was as he was looking for it about 1/4 mile down the road. Didn’t speak very good english as he didn’t understand me and I didn’t understand him! I eventually got him to turn around and come back and I flagged him down pointed to the building and he followed me to the building, then I asked him to please reverse to the exit of the building as we had to pack three or four boxes into the boot. At which stage he turned the car around and started to reverse it to the door and then when he saw we had some few boxes to put in the boot, he turned round and drove away leaving us stood in the rain. Well, that was very good service!! Furious as I was, I called the taxi firm and told them what I just happened and was pretty annoyed, they apologised (fair enough) said they don’t know why he sent the job back but they said they’re getting another driver to us in 5-10 mins. Okay, another wait and another 10 Jean minutes for another driver then came to Message saying your taxi had arrived however the taxi hadn’t arrived because it was nowhere to be seen. I had to walk up to the main road again saw a taxi parked by the side of the road about 100 m away, which I had to walk down to him and ask him to turn round and come to the venue. Now how stupid are these drivers, don’t they have satnav’s in the car ? It’s ridiculous, never again with Moon cars!
This morning I left my handbag on a bus on the way to an appointment - a total catastrophe as I’m going on holiday in a few days time and it had my purse with cash and cards and my Kindle in it. New Moon were able to send a taxi straight away so I could try to catch up with the bus at the terminus. The taxi driver kindly waited while I found the bus I’d been on and waited for the driver to finish his break and give me my handbag back. The taxi driver then got me back to my destination in time for my appointment. Thanks for the very kind service.
We have used this local taxi business for over 30 years, first as Robin Hood and then as New Moon. Always friendly, usually prompt and always reasonably priced. However, for some reason they have have told me today they dont take advance bookings anymore and to phone back half an hour before I need it (I wanted one for in 4 hours and didnt want to risk there being none available). Very sad that I now have to take my business elsewhere after 30 years
My mom BOOKED a taxi for 8:15 and it came more then 8:30 she had a URGENT APPOINTMENT that's why she BOOKED the taxi and it still came late and then it costed her like £30 pounds to get back because the taxi driver didn't know where he was going even though she literally booked it how's that her fault? And because of that when she went to her destination they made her wait 20 minutes and because of this she had awful day today just cuz of a taxi.
When i book a taxi for school they are always an hour late to pick me up and I have to stand in the freezing cold for an hour and they are also late picking me up for school. I complained so many times and nothing has changed. Don’t recommend this taxi if tour going to school because 60 percent of the time your gonna be waiting to be picked up after school
Love this firm. I use firm from sale as our local firms are no way near as caring and polite. I always seem to get chatty taxi drivers. It's so nice and as I am normally travelling alone they make me feel safe. Used them for 7 years and will always use them.
