Booked a taxi earlier this afternoon to pick up at 4.40 pm to pick up my car from garage on Grimshaw Lane as disabled. Garage closed at 5pm and taxi, despite 3 calls had not arrived by 5pm , very busy roads!! I had to tell them to cancel as they were 20minutes late and garage would be closed . Not even a proper apology received

Let me start by saying the driver was lovely. However, the same cannot be said about the staff. Rang taxi from the bingo, had to twice correct him where I was going, because I said L for Lema and G for golf he replied “ if you put that determination into the bingo you might win” then said to the person next to him “ have you heard this “ then hung up. I rang back to state that he was very rude only to be told by a female operator “ well you was rude to him “ again put the phone down on me. If that’s how your staff are I will not use you again. Rude is all I can say.

Majority of the time never had a problem. One thing I will say is that this firm desperately need to start providing their drivers with card readers. I was forced to get a taxi to Manchester from Middleton for work, as the buses weren’t running as they should. I’ve just had to get out mid journey to withdraw cash from a machine that charges £1.99. So I’ve been forced to pay a £15 taxi then pay £1.99 for the trouble of withdrawing cash just to suit the company’s ignorance. This day and age it’s absolutely incredible that you can’t pay for a taxi with a card. Lovely drivers and clean cars most of the time, and lovely people on the phones, and they turn up when they say they will.

I had booked a taxi as I do most days to go to work at the same time as I always would, gets to that time, no taxi, gets passed that time, still no taxi. Had to cancel and go with Uber, not the first time it’s happened either! Very upset!

Has been waiting for 1 hours 15 mins, called 3 time to follow up and at last said driver came but no one there which I was standing right in front of window wait for them to come. need to wait another 30 mins for new order. Extremely disappointed customer service. Never use it again and delete from my phone contact .

Quite frankly, liars! - taxi booked 6 hours in advance for a birthday meal. Multiple calls to them, told 5 mins away, then can’t locate the driver and then just simply kept hanging up on me. Have actually used them for years - shan’t be bothering again.

Took my payment. Car didn’t arrive. All drivers declined a job from central Manchester back to North Chadd. Staff on phone told me they’d rung me and spoken to me, but I’d heard nothing. Standing outside a pub in central Manchester now, waiting for another firm. I’ve never been let down by Connect before, but not willing to risk it again.
