    Rude people !!! I came to the bls at 10 am as my premium appointment was at 10:30 am. The lady at counter 1 was rude. I applied for visa from 17th Jan as they said there has to be at least 15 working days for the visa application. Mind it, today is 29th December 2025. I was spent back to get new e-ticket, insurance and hotel booking confirmation. No worries, I got the print out for new booking from the library nearby as I didn’t want to pay at the centre for the print out . When I was back, he lady pushed me back to the end of the queue though I had requested her if I could come back with the print out. She agreed to it then. I stood at the end of the queue but was called in by the kind guy at the reception who had seen me here since morning. I was given a new token for which I had t wait again but the person at the counter told me that I could let her know once I was ready with new print out . I’m also not convinced that it says no laptop or backpacks allowed in the centre so I left it back but I could see everyone with bags. I’m still waiting for my turn, exhausted and hungry. It’s been 3 hours since morning. I see no point paying the premium service when you get no premium service at all.

    After reading the reviews and seeing the 2.4-star rating, I wasn’t sure if I should apply for my visa through BLS International, but I decided to go ahead anyway. 18/11/2025 My appointment was at 10:00Am, and I arrived at 9:40Am, There were already a lot of people inside. I had booked the premium service, though it’s totally optional. I was given token number 53. Inside the premium lounge, 4–5 desks were helping applicants, and they were on number 32. I thought it would be a long wait, but surprisingly, it only took about 20–25 minutes before it was my turn. I submitted all my documents but my passport photo was too small. They offered an in-house photo service for £10, which was honestly fair considering I paid £22 at Snappy Snaps before. After submitting all my documents, I went for biometrics, which took less than 2 minutes. 25/11/2025 Today I received my visa by post. I couldn’t believe how fast it was. Overall, I have zero complaints about BLS. The customer service was excellent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    The BLS service is full of scams. Most of those five-star reviews are clearly artificially boosted. The actual visa fee is less than £75. However, it is ballooned to £221 (BLS earns £146) because regular appointment slots are nearly impossible to book, so you are forced to pay for the premium service. However, even the premium lounge is very crowded—apparently because so many people are pushed into using the premium service due to the man-made scarcity of regular slots. The most ridiculous part is that you are trapped to pay £30 just to have your visa delivered to your home. This is a textbook example of how disastrous it can be when the government contracts out public services to a private firm like BLS. I cannot imagine how corrupt and rent-seeking the whole process has become. Truly shocking!

    This is not a biased review, and I don’t usually give reviews to the facilities I go to unless I was really happy. I’ve been to the previous BLS address which was quite small and gets easily crowded. Appointment slots was impossible to book. However when they moved into the new address, I could say that the service has improved as well. The place was spacious, staff was accomodating and the printing section was free of charge (even for the standard appt) I have experienced being in both premium and standard. And I also noticed that the standard appts are now quite easy to book that’s why I was thankful. Even though the queue was long before their opening time, the service was fast enough once inside.

    I visited BLS London Spain Visa Application center on 2nd Feb with my family (3 applicants) and it was a very good experience. Everyone at the center was very helpful. Special mention of the two front desk ladies who managed the crowd effortlessly as well as guided the people in taking printouts. It is not easy to manage so many people who come with their friends and families :) The visa officer was also quick at her work. Within 5 minutes she verified all our documents. One of the lady forgot her earrings while taking photograph and the officers were literally reaching out to everyone who saw the lady. Hat's off ! The only difficult part was finding an appointment which I don't feel is the staff's responsibility working at the center. Hence, the 5 * are only for the people who are part of London VAC. I have monitored the site for 1.5 months everyday and after every hour. I have not seen normal slots coming at all. So had to book premium slots only. Spain embassy should take a note of it. Many of my friends want to visit Spain but due to this reason are not opting. Hopefully, in the coming days getting normal visa slot should be easy for people.

    I had extraordinary experience at BLS Spain visa centre in London. I was helped by Olivia and she is a marvellous girl who knows her job in and out thoroughly well. She directed me about the documentation and my son's visa arrived in few days. She was very meticulous and got my documentation in an order. I would rate my experience at BLS as 5 star. Also, I noticed how the staff at front desk and even at other windows were helping people without getting anxious and were always smiling. I beleive all this helps and gives you lot of confidence.     No wonder why it has so many negative reviews. Went for my appointment today. Paid for premium service but it was very disappointing. £75 for the lounge which is more the actual visa fee. I couldn’t distinguish it from waiting area where i was waiting most of the time and was packed with people. Small place with busy people rushing and running here and there. Premium service ladies were polite and helpful but biometric girl hates her job I think. Did not communicate properly and had a low tone. Did not feel comfortable and premium at all.

    Do yourself a favour and avoid this place !! You can get a visa from any other center. Absolutely outrageous !! I thought I would get a decent premium service for 75 pounds , but apparently you get nothing apart from printing and everything else mentioned on their website is just a lie !!. I had to wait for 3 hrs to be seen by someone!! No tickets given , chaotic place , too many applicants in a very small hall. I paid 183 pounds for a service I didn’t get and I couldn’t regret my appointment more !!.

    I have had the same issue twice. First time they said a document was missing and I had to email to complain and indeed it wasn't missing. Very bad service. This second time, I paid around 250 pounds extra for lounge service for them to double check my documents. They told me everything was there and passed 18 working days I still haven't received my Visa. I go to the centre to check everything is ok and they said to wait a couple more days, that everything seemed fine. I call them and the same company notifies me I am missing a document (which I printed when I first submitted). They did not email me or notify me in person about this missing document so I have just been waiting and waiting until I miss my flight. Very unacceptable.
