quoted £40 to Manchester airport and £40 return, charged £50 when we got to the airport, also charged £50 for return, when i asked why the £10 difference, i was told the girl had got it wrong. not a good enough excuse to charge more. will not use again
I have been a regular customer for years, but in the last few months the service has become desperate. It used to be known how much the initial price of a ride was, which is no longer known today, from £3.60-£3.90 for the same driving route. Today I waited 20 minutes for a vehicle to be sent to me and finally, when the driver was assigned to me, he canceled my booking. And as of today, one less customer.
Booking 2 minibuses weeks in advance for a return journey, getting the total cost and agreeing to pay in full when they drop off at the venue, getting text confirmations and thank you for choosing us, doesn't mean it will happen.1hr before pick up getting a call "can't cover the trip no minibus driver" no alternative plan offered, i suggested they send cars to cover the amount of people and was told can guarantee they'll all turn up on time. Had to say speak to some one higher up and sort it, its rediculous to call at last minute. Called back, cars will be sent at the same time and price will still. They turned up and all wanted paying individually and the cost of the first run was nearly as dear as the total quote they gave us, so with the return journey it was nearly twice the quote given.
So I have had 4 taxis this week, two have been late. Booked all at least 2hrs in advance, 1st one ok, second one left me in a dark industrial estate and the when I advised that I was a woman on my own and anything would happen, was told by a very rude man not to try and guilt trip him.... tried to advise that was not my intention I was trying to explain the danger that I could have been in (bear in mind I have previously been attacked) had to go looking for the taxi that was supposed to be coming. When I eventually got in the car he confirmed he had only just been given the job (15 mins later than he should have collected me). Gave the benefit of the doubt and booked agin for the following morning, he was fine. Booked again for this morning only to find I was ringing up to chase it up.... drive arrived 15mins late and confirmed he had just been given the job..... I was going to a new job and was ONE MINUTE from being late. The job had even guided me to say the the last person was sacked for constantly being late!!! To scared to book again so walked for 45 mins to get home rather than the fear of the taxi not getting me. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN
On time and cab fairly clean. Polite driver.

Always had good service,apart from once when I waited 45 mins but apart from that been great
They used to deliver a great service, but now useless. Three times I've pre-booked a taxi for important appointments, this time it was for an Hospital appointment, which I'd waited over two years for. Taxi was booked for 8.30am, no show, phoned up, all the operator said is " It's because of all the School taxi runs" No apology, just "your a priority" and " You're in the queue". If you can not guarantee a Taxi within at least ten minutes of the time someone has pre-booked a taxi, you should not accept the bookings! Thanks to the terrible service, I missed my appointment, and will now have to wait for god knows how long for another. I will be using any other Taxi services but these, in future.
On the whole these guys are great. Fast, friendly service. I pre booked a car to take me to the train station, driver was on time, however, he was driving like he was on a Sunday outing, taking the scenic route. The suitcase and destination should have been a bit of a give away. I had to ask him to hurry up or I was going to miss my train. I just made it on time. I was not impressed
