Very unprofessional, left my kids waiting outside school for over 30 mins , when taxi was prebooked on numerous occasions. Never ever get an apology and i use them regularly for short and long distances. And then the driver had the cheek to take a tip without asking. There is one operator lady who is very rude.

I use Metro nearly every day for my granddaughter never had a problem, always arrive on time and drivers have been friendly enough. Now..try to order a taxi for a morning, you've no chance of it reaching you at the time you requested. 2 days now i have booked a taxi well in advance fir 8.15..8 15 arrives but no taxi. Call the office to get a rude receptionist on the other end telling me I will have to wait another 10-12 minutes. When I book a taxi fir a certain time i expect it to arrive on time as I have give them enough time to arrange a driver. Great taxi firm but they need to sort out late arrival time for mornings or give the customer some information that they will have no one available. 2 days ihave had to make other arrangements. One more thing, no disrespect but your receptionists should take another course on customer service and how they soeak to customers. Happy with metro but let down when it is important fir them to be on time.

I have used this company for 20 years. I recently left my phone on the backseat of one of their taxi's. Being able to communicate with their drivers, even on a basic level has been an issue for a while now. I attempted to arrange for the phone to be delivered to me - I would pay the fare. The driver cannot find roads without a sat nav nor understand the instructions to find me. When I phone back their office I get a snotty reply from staff advising me they have repeatedly attended different addresses (why?) and I need to go to them to collect it, despite the driver in question not having left it at their HQ yet. I stood outside my house in the rain for 35minutes I absolutely know for a fact he did not pull up outside where I live. I have no transportation and I am disabled hence why I used them in the first place. How on earth have these drivers managed to obtain a Bolton Taxi Driver License in the first place they cant even find their way to an address on a main road.

First time booking this company after a visit to Bolton Hospital yesterday. Only waited a matter of seconds before the taxi turned up. The driver was polite, helpful and easy to chat too. The price was cheaper than Uber, which is a bonus, and I will have no hesitation in using this company again in the future.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with this taxi company. I’ve used them before without issues, so I’m wondering if management has changed. From the start, the customer service was shocking. The woman who took the booking was rude and unhelpful, responding with things like “what” and “no,” followed by silence—offering zero assistance. She instructed us to call back once we arrived at the airport, which we did. After waiting 40 minutes with no driver, I called again. The response I got was, “What, you’re there now?” followed by, “Be with you in 20.” When I clarified if that meant another 20 minutes, the answer was just, “Yup.” In total, we were left waiting an hour and a half. When I called to cancel after being told to wait yet another 20 minutes, there was zero apology—just complete disregard. Absolutely disgraceful service. Stay well clear of this company unless you want to be left stranded and extremely frustrated. I truly hope management sees this review and takes action to improve both their staff’s attitude and the reliability of their service. Also worth noting—it’s clear they’re trying to drown out negative feedback. If you look at the reviews, the newest ones are critical, while the “5-star” reviews are 10+ months old but suspiciously edited just days ago. Very questionable practice.

Some passengers may not want that but I found it refreshing compared to some of your other drivers who can be plain rude!! Had one last week who asked me for cash up front before my pick up....... I was going to work after my bus didn't turn up WT....heck!!!

Taxi arrived promptly. The driver was very helpful and patient seeing as I was travelling with a baby and a child with quite a bit of luggage. He was cheerful through it all. The rates are also very good. I will definitely be using metro cars again.

Pretty incompetent drivers and call center. They simply don't care!! I've paid 4.20 to be dropped off at my door step and the incompetent driver said he couldn't drive to the same exact road all other drivers have driven before. I've called the customer service to report that and the equally incompetent person didn't show any consideration or care. Thankfully not the only taxi services around. I hope all othe customer see how bad they are and change services. Unbelievably bad.
