   Z-Cars were booked a day in advance to collect my disabled elderly mother for a hospital appointment. On the morning of pick up the did not arrive and she had to call, they informed her that no taxi was willing to collect on her street and in a shrug tone said there was nothing they could do. After the conversation she was then texted cancelling the booking. This meant she was unable to get to her appointment and this has had serious knock on medical implications. As address and street was already known they should not have taken the booking and allowed her to seek alternative methods of transport in advance.

   Won’t be calling these again. Called to order a taxi, wasn’t given an estimated time. So called back 12 minutes later just to ask for an update on how long they would be so we knew when to be waiting outside, to be greeted by a rude man responding with, “are you taking the piss” and then hung up on. So called JRs who was more than accommodating.

   I've never had an issue, until one sad day came along. Unfortunately. Ordered a taxi for 1.30pm, came half an hour early. Lady text saying don't worry about it, ignore him. Get there and I pay on card. Took ages to process, he said we will drive around the block to see if he gets better signal, (after waiting 10 minutes mind...) then it still doesn't work, he drops me at a cash machine nearby and I have to wait 2 mins to cross the road, the machine charges me 2.00 pounds, I cross the road again, and ask him to knock 2.00 off as it's not my fault. He was quite rude and wouldnt accept. Not my fault HIS machine wasn't working! And made me wait 15 mins in total, making me late for my appointment. Kinda put me off using them again. After so many years. Awful Scottish man in a minibus.

   Absolutely shocking. Called up to book 2 taxis home from a wedding and they only sent one. They then said on the phone it would be £12 and then when we picked him up he said it was on a tariff and was going up a lot. He tried charging us £20 for a 10 minute journey....

   Just used z cars for Leigh to town centre. Great driver going, appalling abrupt and nasty driver coming home, will never use the company again. Verbally abusive to us both. Just glad I was not on my own in the taxi.

   I booked a taxi for midnight on Christmas Day. It was a long drive to pick us up and he actually found the house we were at even though it was hard to find and the Sat nav doesn’t go all the way down the road where it was. The driver was so polite and never went over the speed limit on our way home. (some firms I have used in the past I have had to ask them to slow down as some were doing 60 in a 30 and it wasn’t a nice safe journey home.. especially when you have children in the car) This is the first time I have used Z cars but will definitely use again. Also the price was very good as other companies quotes were about £10 more expensive! The price they gave was an estimated price and I was sent a link earlier in the day to pay for my journey which was so easy and it was what I was quoted. I did expect a meter on and pay more to be honest! So the link was really good as it was paid upfront! .Well done Z cars.

   Every time you try using their app to book a taxi they reject it. And when they do accept takes forever for a taxi to arrive.

   Meter started on 12 before I'd even set off. Didn't have cash and the driver said they didn't have a reader - until they finally pulled one out reluctantly. - I had to pay 20 up front. Other services to get home from the address I started n finish at cost total of 16. - I didn't even get dropped off at my house I had to walk the rest of my journey. H
