We always enjoy visiting with the grandchildren and appreciate the extra activities we sometimes find like the donkey rides and face painters. The outdoor area is a bonus & is open most of the year except for really bad weather days. My only gripe is having to let the kids choose their ice cream flavour at one counter, then queue and pay at the main till, then move back to the ice cream counter to remind the staff which ice cream we want only to realise that juice and sprinkles each cost extra and need me to go back and queue at main till to pay the extras. Maybe a price list on the main counter itemising all the ice cream prices would help. Other than that it’s a favourite.

Lovely place and grounds with other amenities farm shop and main shop. Large seating areas with separate areas for children's parties. Click and serve via the QR code on the menu as we were at table 52. When you order by till they even bring it to your table! Less hassle. The areas were clean and well organised. Great you can book ahead and get the Green Card app and use the same email via the website to get a free hot drink. The play area was limited for 1 years and under especially. I think this area requires some updating inline with other astablishments I've been to. A jacket potato was ordered with chilli but you had to add cheese for nearly 2 pounds. The ratio of chilli could've been slightly more as they put it in a sauce ramekin. Although, they did not stinge on the butter. My child had a kids meal. This meal was quite expensive when you add extras and need a drink. Which others have stated it is not a cheap day out even as an adult and child which cost £16 odd for just these meals without the drinks/snacks. I do not totally agree with toilets for anyone (males, females, baby changing, etc) in one large room. No coverage for babies getting their nappies done and parents may not know there child is going to the toilet unsupervised. It is just something to be aware of before booking.

Please do NOT take your children and family here. They let too many people in and there is not enough space to accommodate everyone. I had an awful experience with a parent who was verbally abusive and threw my child's coat on the floor to take the seats we had (we were about to eat lunch). There was a confrontation and she threatened me. When the manager was called, the manager/supervisor did nothing to assist. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Despite them apologising, they were unable to provide a refund (as we didnt stay). Instead they offered our family free ticketsl, which, never arrived. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I booked a play session at Grasshoppers this week, and during the checkout process I was shown a number of add on activities, and chose to add an ice‑skating session that appeared to line up perfectly afterwards. However, when we arrived at Grasshoppers at Tingley, I realised the system had allowed me to book soft play at one garden centre (Tong) and ice‑skating at another (Tingley), which are around 20 minutes apart. This meant our back‑to‑back booking wasn’t actually possible. As someone with ADHD, it can be overwhelming when lots of add‑ons are presented at once, and it’s easy to miss details like this. I really feel the booking system needs a clear pop‑up or warning at checkout to confirm both activities are at the same location, so others don’t run into the same issue. Thankfully, a young man called Adam, who was working at the Tingley ice rink, completely turned the situation around. Instead of telling us it was simply our mistake, he went out of his way to help, walking between the rink and the soft play to make sure we could still enjoy both activities. He rearranged our ice‑skating time so it followed our play session, meaning we didn’t miss out. Adam turned a three star (technical issue) experience, into a 5 star one.

This was our visit Time visiting here and it’s definitely one of the best play areas we’ve been to, and will definitely be back. My daughter loved every part of it, the only downside to it was the time you had. I feel it wasn’t long enough to really enjoy everything, she was sad that we had to leave.

Great soft play with my three and one year old. The soft play area is clean and well maintained. The whole area is secure so I felt the children were pretty safe. I was pretty impressed overall. The food situation really let it down. I booked a session 1445 to 1700 so sat down to order some now very hungry children some food at about 10 past 4 to be told the kitchen closes at 4. I really don't understand why this would be the case and felt like I'd just have to leave early. Made do with a cheese sandwich for the eldest and an emergency pouch for the baby. I'd definitely go back, the staff and centre were great but don't be caught out by the odd timings for food.

Visited here with my 3 year old during half term and I am amazed at how big this place is! So much to do with an incredible indoor and outdoor space. We will definitely be returning. Time slots were ticketed, pre-booking required online, which meant it wasn't too busy. Not like other soft play places where it feels like a free-for-all. Staff were very friendly. Additional cost for face painting though reasonable. My only negative comment would be the price for drinks at £4+ for a standard hot chocolate. Overall I still give 5 stars as for the entry price and amount of time allocated, vs. the amount of facilities they have = a perfect afternoon out.

Lovely play area for children. Very clean and well maintained, both inside and out. One of the best soft play areas my toddler has been to...so much so that he cried when it was time to leave (first time).

Brand new and just as good as the other one in tong, if not better. I think the indoor soft play is slightly bigger, and there are go karts outside at this one. The whole food menu is the same as the other. Nice place. Definitely would go again

Explore With Son & Me ★★★★☆
Lovely brand new soft play! I visited with my crawling 11 month old at 9;30 on a Sunday morning. It quickly got incredibly busy, although we managed to find a table easily - you can also order food and drink to your table on your phone which makes things easier. The under 3s area was great, a really good size with plenty of sensory stuff. The only downside was it was absolutely full of big kids, in the end we complained and a member of staff made sure bigger kids weren’t going to in the babies play area. The outside bit is a really great add-on; and definitely somewhere I’ll come back in summer once my son is walking as he will love this. The only complaints I have are: toilets and baby change nowhere near big enough. You need double the amount of toilets and some more private baby changing area as it felt like absolute chaos and my son hated being changed in it. Finally, I didn’t like that the exit brought you out into the garden centre right where all the kids toys are. Things are hard enough with cost of living at the moment without coming out into the kids toy area - I’d have more respect for the garden centre shop area if you could just leave easily without having to drag your kids through it.
