At Freightliner Manchester worst depot out of all of them the crane drivers haven’t a. Clue wat ther doin the lifter drivers are as bad they haven’t a clue either just on my second hr waiting to load it’s appalling it needs proper management to sort this out hauliers are missing time slots please avoid unless u have plenty of time to waste sitting round unbelievable
As freightliner depots go this has got to be one of the worse ....its poorly located with virtually no signage when you do arrive entrance is confusing and queing system to enter is guess whos next. Its somewhere left behind in time with no one around to ask where you need to go its all done on assumption you been here before and no where to go ......toilets no idea ....h&s forget it .....a driver even asked me wheres the exit as sianage inside is so poor .....wow what a dump
Could do with a site map fitting next to booking in screens to give you an idea of where the ticket is telling you to go
Bit of a wait to get unloaded but once in no problem glad I didn't have a container queue was long for that.
Going through a revamp Always this site has been a slow turn about saying that can't put anything bad as it can't get much slower. Some times you can be in and out like a flash mainly on a blue moon day
It's a horrible company to work for, James is an awful and lost manager. There are no healthy and safety, the work environment is messy, dirty, disorganized and really unsafe. I believe James doesn't think, doesn't understand anything about logistics and should be fired for mistreating staff's safety. He has no clue about what he is doing and is worried only about what his superiores will think. A dunkey can run it a lot better.
Unfortunately i have to give it at least 1 star to review!!! Queues are horrendous, staff are disgusting, management always look the other way as there staff never do wrong, the crane drivers work on there own time table... that's when they are actually at there machines oh and we can't forget.... you get banned if you don't wear your safety gear, unlike there staff who can gladly walk round the yard with no high viz, safety glasses, pants and hats!
First visit yesterday, easy to find. More than helpful and friendly bloke on gate in. Was explained full directions and health and safety etc. In and out within 15 minutes or so. Can't grumble really. Visited in the evening as night driver.
