   The driver never even attempted delivery to my address, just straight-up lied on the tracking and dumped the parcel at this shop instead. And these absolute geniuses signed for it and marked it “handed to customer” even though their store has been permanently boarded up, padlocked and abandoned for months. Their Google Business Profile still proudly says “OPEN 9AM-9PM” with the little green dot, they’re happily accepting parcels addressed to a shop that no longer exists. If your business is closed and boarded up, how mentally deficient do you have to be to not even log into Google and click the single button that says “Permanently Closed”? It takes ten seconds. They can’t even manage that. Don't worry it doesn't stop here, two years ago I actually managed to catch them when the shop was still half-alive. Went in with my ID, order number, and the DPD QR code to collect a parcel. The woman behind the counter looked me dead in the eye and said that wasn’t enough she needed to see my bank statements to “prove” it was mine. Who the hell demands bank statements to release a £30 parcel? Should be called Burton Road Fraud & Crime.

   Who does the owner of this place think he is? So rude and foul. UPS were supposed to drop a parcel of mine at my home, they didn't and it went here. The place is boarded up and no sign says to go next door to the shop they do own that's open. Nothing. I go there with all the info I have been sent and politely ask for my package. He grills me like I'm up to something bad, like I'm acting in bad faith. Keeps snapping, talking over me, like I've entered his precious kingdom and customers are beneath him. I give the name, my address, the info I've been sent. He's talking down to me, saying he needs a code to scan. In the end I get my parcel. Like pulling teeth and none of that is on me. It's on Burton Food and Wine's shoddy, arrogant, haughty, superior attitude. Awful place. Avoid it.

   Overcharged , prices clearly marked , the price rang up from the till added .25p, tried to cancel the goods , asked for my money back , the man became violent started shouting , he followed me out the shop tripped me up , knocking me to the floor , prices listed are by law applicable . Avoid this filthy dirty shop with the worst staff , that have no knowledge of uk laws , I have reported the matter to trading standards and the police , will update as the case progresses . I am considering a civil law case against the owner of this business .

   Rude staff, not fulfilling their contractual obligations to take DHL packages. If the package is under the parameters they should except the package, however they decline to take packages if it blocks the lollipops, absolute joke.

   I first started going to this shop about two years ago, the staff is brilliant and if they have anything out of stock they will order it again as soon as you ask. Cougan (if spelled correctly) is the manager of this location and he is brilliant to have a chat to.
