I took an extra walk to the top of the hill to shop at the summit. Once before I was charged more than the shelf label and the staff member sold me the product at the price advertised. Today I shopped and saw a large banner which read "I ❤️ wine.. 2 for £10" on a round promotion bin. At the checkout I was greeted with £12. Confused I asked why only to be told it relates to the products on the lowest shelf which I would struggle to see. Whilst this is legal it's very confusing and if was doing a small shop may not realise my mistake. I think I will stick to my local small shop that doesn't have lots of offers but always charged the price I see.
