Saklain and Lisa were wonderful today for my scale and polish. Second time I’ve seen Saklain and he’s friendly, thorough and helpful. Very happy with my experiences at this branch of mydentist
Took my Daughter for a check up today 11/12/25. She struggles with most medical appointments due to Autism and really struggles in unfamiliar environments and situations. The staff were amazing with her, the Dentist and Dental nurse (sorry I didn’t catch your names) were so caring and explained everything to her. They honestly went above and beyond and I’m so grateful. Thank you so much.
It feels a shame to leave a bad review here as others have had very good experiences. Sadly I cannot say the same. I moved back to the UK this year and advised them of what my dentist had told me abroad. I had an X-ray showing my wisdom teeth are impacting some of my teeth. I brought this to the dentist as a concern and was dismissed. He claimed if they were to remove them that I could have nerve damage however in Belgium they advised the longer the wisdom teeth are left then the more risk and harder it will be to extract them when I do have problems. They said it could in-time cause me to lose surrounding teeth. To be dismissing other professionals is incredibly poor practice. If or rather when I have problems from this I can sue you for clinical negligence. I have since had filings here which was completely rushed and resulted in the fillings feeling rough and not smooth. The quality was much higher in Belgium and they had plenty time to see patients as they didn’t cram in as many appointments as possible. We are paying for a service here and it is suffering due to things being rushed. I actually paid similar prices in Belgium for my teeth so why is the quality substantially worse here?
Thank goodness Numaan joined the team! A genuinely great guy who really knows his stuff and actually takes the time and effort to make people feel at ease. Emma his assistant is also fantastic, super friendly and very professional! A Great duo together in the practice, making visiting the dentist a pleasant experience. Myself, husband and children would not want to see anyone else.
What a fantastic dental appointment, from going In, with pleasent reception staff, then seeing Saklain who worked with me, asking my advice and if what he offered suited me. He understood my humiliation of losing a front tooth and did amazing at getting me sorted for my holidays, thank you so much saklain and your dental nurse who was so lovely and they both had a good sense of humour which certainly takes the stress away. Amazing dentist. Sophie the dentist and her colleague put my daughter at ease. So much fun too She is no longer scared to go o the dentist. I go there myself also and they are great. Friendliest dentist I've been too. Would not change it. Would recommend to everyone.
Muhammad is the best dentist I've ever had, you can definitely tell that he has pride in his work, and so he should, he gave me my smile back :) Thank you Muhammad.
Edit: Definitely a patient at this practice. Maybe ask for some details before saying I'm not? I spoke to the practice manager last weekend. Really unhappy with this practice. Had a lovely dentist who I trusted and then he left and now I have Mr Donatos Papanikolaou. The first time I saw him he said I needed 3 fillings despite my old dentist saying I had decent teeth but may have needed one filling on my next visit, I then went back a few months later to get a cleaning and a filling. Even rang the practice in the morning to make sure the appointment was for a filling and a clean which she confirmed it was. The dentist was running an hour behind and when I got in the room he looked at my teeth for 2 mins, confirmed I needed the 3 fillings from before plus an additional 3 more fillings but wasn't able to do the filling and the clean today despite being booked in for a 30 mins appointment. I have tried to resolve this with reception who advised they would speak to the practice manager on Friday. Confirmed I would receive a call on Monday and I haven't, tried to ring 3 times today to get cut off every time. I feel like this dentist is just after money and wanted to leave early on friday and it will be very interesting to see if my new dentist feels like I need 6 fillings like he's tried to get me to agree to. Would not recommend.
My husband got a text reminding him to make routine check up. We rang to make appointments only to find that I had been removed from the list and now have no dentist. I have had no communication from anyone and had been with this practice for over 30 years. The receptionist told me there was nothing she could do. I've never missed appointments and only hadn't been because of covid. Obviously loyalty to longstanding patients counts for nothing.
The dentist mirji is lovely. I'm an anxious patient and she's always very nice and helpful. It really helps to see someone so caring when your nervous about going. However the receptionist here sounds like she doesn't want to be there. Very rude , wouldn't speak to my carer even though when I joined he signed me up as I have previously given them authorisation to speak to him on my behalf. Then just her general attitude of disappearing on the phone leaving you sat there wondering where she's gone. Interrupting you abruptly when you have sensory issues. I don't understand why people work with the public if they don't like people. It costs nothing to be a kind person.
