   Received an email at 9.53 to pick up my parcel and wow they close at 10. Don't bother going without checking Google for opening and closing hours. Had to ask for permission from work to go and pick it up but they were closed. Waste of our time. How can we pick up anything when they work 8-10 and we are at work too?

   There is a blindingly obvious reason why this depot has such a low combined review score. These people are living in an out-dated world where, once upon a time, they were the only available carrier - and we should be grateful for the care they gave our parcels. This is no longer the case - and their competitor carriers are thriving. BUT competitors are not thriving because they are forging ahead, they are thriving because Royal Mail are astoundingly complacent in their 'jobsworth' 'jobs for life' attitude. I am sick to death of the ridiculous flurry of little red cards landing on my mat telling me that they could not deliver my parcel. Not a 'signed for', simply a delivery. A notice on my front door indicates parcel to the rear porch please. But its easier to screw up a red card and push it through a letterbox than walk fifteen yards to the back of the house. They seem to have no incentive to deliver parcels to their recipients, as other carriers seem to do. This issue ONLY occurs with Royal Mail. I have started to avoid on-line shops that use RM. If I wanted to pick my parcels up from the RM Depot, I may as well visit a real shop. Royal mail are not suffering due to competition - they are suffering from the profound inability to understand that their job is to get the parcel to the recipient, not just to visit the address... Doesn't try hard - could do a LOT better. See Me!

   Great team and a fantastic necessity to the community of Marple. Opens 07:00-10:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00-12:00 on Saturday for the customer to collect or drop off. Though as a delivery office, they do not sell stamps or envelopes. You would need to visit the post office ( in Asda across the road).

   I've been coming here for years to collect missed packages and to drop off orders for my online shop. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking available (unlike a lot of other delivery offices and Post Offices) and it's a really handy location in the centre of Marple.

   Great local depot. Rare to have so close . Ran by a really decent team but none more so than shelly at the desk ( shes doing deliveries during covid) Really friendly and helpful. Thanks guys I'm the annoying guy from brindley who always comes in for specials
